Amirah sat propped on the bed in their room seething. How could this happen? How could another rift take place while they're working so hard to patch one tear. What the monster is even wrong with Amin! Is that how he goes about hugging and kissing every lady in town.

She got up, walked to her bag and brought out a copy of Jane Austen's 'sense and sensibility'. She seriously needed distraction if not, her heart will bulge out of her chest any moment.

Reading carefully with inconceivable attention, Amin swooshed into the room holding a small tray with glass cup on top.

"I brought some juice for you. Take it, it will cool your throat." He set the tray beside her on the bed and sat looking at her.

She hissed and glared into thin air. Since from the warehouse she had been ignoring him while he persistently pressured her with his presence and apologies.

He took the glass cup from the tray and passed it over to her."take flower, is very cold."

"Did I tell you I need a cold drink?"she scowled at him peskily, then buried her head back on her book as if she'd been seriously reading.

The atmosphere around him clotted with anxiety.

"Okay what do you want?" Amin clemently requested, looking sombre at her and all the glitters in his eyes faded gloomily.

Amirah huffed, annoyance evident on her face. She wished he could just leave her alone to dive in her mood. She speculated for a while and decided to punish him so she said;

"I need a hot coffee."

"Okay will be right back." He got up instantly and took the tray away. He swung open the door gently in order not to disturb her and made his way towards the kitchen.

Five minutes later, he came back carrying with him tray with coffee mug on top. "I've made the coffee for you." He smiled smugly and held the cup to her face.

Amirah peeped into the mug cup and grimaced, " I need latte not espresso." then went back to reading her book.

There was a perspicuous fret on Amin's face as he withdrawn the cup from her face and kept back on the tray. "sorry."  He uttered with frailty in his voice and went back to the kitchen.

After he had brought her desired coffee, she wanted declining it again but took pity on his poor soul and accepted it. Why is she even punishing him when it wasn't his fault to begin with. The lady was the one that hugged him, he actually wasn't the one that made the move. But he also has his own contribution to the crime by not revolting and doing something like warning her not to try it again.

"Are you okay?" He asked for the millionth times that day. He let out a sigh and went on, "I'm sorry once again for what happened, okay."

She slurped her coffee gently not even sparing a glance towards him. When she was done with the coffee, she kept the mug on the tray and returned to her book.

Amin took the cup back to the kitchen and returned shortly to the room.

"why are you even angry with when it was entirely not my fault." He exploded as soon as he retook his initial position close to her on the bed. "Is not like I did it. She kissed me not me kissing her and you saw it clearly." He coldly asserted.

Amirah's eyes flared. "Why will you allow her to kiss you in the first place?" She scowled at him apparently and plunged back to her book.

"Because I can't do that to women. I mean I can't shout at them or say angry things at them." he countered, sounding more appealing than before.
