Their car screeched and halted instantaneously at the frontier of the park.
Amirah came out of the car with sore countenance. Her hand quivered literally as she closed the car door, afterward, treaded to the park gate leaving kabir behind trying to lock the car.
And as she inched away, kabir's voice rattled her to turn behind.
She peered at him exchanging words with an old man wearing a fade black coat who kabir incidentally jolted into.
The man looked at him disdainfully. "Young man can't you see?" the man growled which startled and seethed kabir.
"Oh I'm sorry." kabir scoffed at him and pulled his fist together with a scowling look on his face.
"You're mocking. And next time don't be arrogant." the old man glared at him flagrantly and nimbled away.
Amirah twiddled towards him and spoke slowly. "Kabir you ought to be very careful okay. Are you alright?" she peeked at the fuming kabir with leniency.
Kabir glared at the passing old man sternly. "Why didn't I even knock him down. Imagine the scorn he gave to me as if a did it deliberately."
Amirah actuated closer to him and wrung her hand on his neck. "Relax bro, his act will judge him. I implore you should forget about him. After all today is your birthday so cheer up." she smiled effectually, and kabir loosened.
He grinned cheerfully. "Yeah, I'm not suppose to get angry today, lets forget that fop and move away."
They ambled into the park as kabir hummed quietly, spooring to the liberty the tranquil ambiance had afforded.
They chatted pleasantly as they rummaged around the park, sniffing the sweet fragrance of nature stalking around them.
As they got tired of rambling about, they took shelter in a Canteen.
"Let's have something light to eat." kabir suggested primly, and Amirah nodded.
She went with what kabir said not because she wanted to eat as she's still feebling from the attack she just had.
They called the waiter standing two tables away from them taking order from some people.
The waiter paddled to them and took their orders.
Some minutes elapsed, the waiter came back and held out a plate of steaming bouillon to kabir as kabir savours its sweet aroma gently while taking it from the waiter. He handed Amirah her French fries and sandwich.
"Do you have soda?" Amirah requested.
"No mam." the waiter answered slightly winking his eyebrows. "This is the only drink we have." he pointed to the can of pomegranate mocktail he had kept on the table for them, then lurched out of their view while tangling hastily to get other customer's order.
Kabir nibbled the bouillon into his mouth voraciously while slobbering. "The food is scrumptious." he uttered as he gently shook his head waving to the taste of the food.
"My is nauseating," Amirah bleated, slightly crinkling her cheeks. She had been forcing the food down her throat as she couldn't enjoy the lusciousness of the food. The drink more even, sotted her as if she's sipping alcohol.
"If you can't finish your food bring it here." kabir took the plate from her front and set it beside his plate.
Amirah smiled. "You can eat awfully much."
"Check my muscles," he slapped his arm. "Is manifesting right?"
"Yeah, but don't let it outgrow and become like a hulk's."
