Mohammad Amin, being a cosset who had been coddled by grandpa's affection all his life, now finds him self in a sloppy dung with every crate of emotion turned upside down for him.
He was scared and being threatened by his conscious of the kind of life that awaits him. Grandpa had called and asked him to come home immediately. He had landed a while ago but decided to go to his summer house close to Exe river to have some solitude. He haven't told anyone of his marriage apart from Collins and of course Yusuf.
It was suppose to be the happiest day of his life, yet here he is, shrinking amidst his feelings and the cold breeze rising from the sea. He gasped and rubbed his hand down his face. His emotion triggered, probably making a way out of the situation. The worst is that he couldn't stop thinking of flower, which is now a new feeling which formed a sharp flake that's spearing into his heart.
He got up, seized his phone from the bed side and plodded to the river to sniff the scent of breeze straying from the river.
He sat close to the river at the shore and threw small pebbles into the river while savoring the sensational ventilation replacing the Choky air muzzling in his chest.
He decided to put on his phone which had been off for a while as he doesn't want any disturbance considering he wasn't in a good mood to answer any call.
Just as he was about putting his phone into his pocket, it rang, revealing Collins name on the screen. He picked the call without the slightest hesitation.
"Are you really the groom?" Was Collins question to him.
"I could have doubt that if I wasn't already hooked up in the whole mess."
"Hey where are you now. Your grandpa is worried about you."
"I'm safe wherever I am, you don't need to worry about me I'm serious."
"When are you coming home?" Collins ask the question more of appeasing than simply a question.
"I sincerely don't know yet, maybe when I feel better, it might be today or tomorrow as it's evening already."
"Alright take care and don't starve yourself okay?"
"Yeah thanks."
It's obvious he had not eaten anything for a while but already cloying from the unfathomed destiny he had just stepped his feet into. He's not the type to indulge more on life revolvement, but this one is literally a spook fidgeting round the isle of his life. He could hardly instigate his heart not to worry as it had been registered there already.
Ever since he was a child, he's use to having whatever he wanted. As the first child of the family, his decision was always welcomed even as a small boy, his parent finds his advice worthy whenever he's sorted out for a crucial decision.
But now, muddling with the new epoch of life he had find himself into, he could only sit and think severely, but could not act to salvage his life from life savages.
Grandpa had been everything to him after his parent passed away, yet he could not reason why he chooses to speck his happiness by forcing him to get married when he least expected so, and then dooming him with a woman he doesn't even love and didn't think he can love her ever.
At first, it wasn't anything to him, not until he met flower that everything changed into a revolution. The wheel he had practically kept rolling assured to be inveigled by his heart to accept the doleful destiny had now jounced after meeting flower, toppling him gruffly to the contour of doom, and is now wilting away with his heart.
He got up indolently and shuffled towards the house, staggering at some instance as the sinews in his body were dwindling away. All he wanted at that moment was a good and undisturbed rest.
