"Wait... WHAT?!?" Gwen yelled after David and I came out.

David jumped back and I caught him.

"Yep!" I said proudly.

"David. You're sweating take a shower." Gwen said to David.

When I looked at him he was, in fact, sweating like crazy.

"Go take a shower." I said.

I gave him a kiss and pushed him toward the door.

"Did you tell Max yet?" Gwen asked me.

"No. Why?" I asked back.

"That kids gonna murder you on the spot once he finds out." Gwen explained.

"Ya I know." I told her.

"Ok good. Did David tell you about Max's problems?" She asked.

"That kids a huge problem!" I told her.

"No no no. Not that. His parents beat him and he has millions of bruises on his body. Poor kid." She explained.

I gasped. I could never tell.

"Wow..." I said quietly.

"Ya... The poor boy only ever told David and me. Not even his best friends know." Gwen told me.

I took a deep breath. It was hard to take all this in.

"Cmon Daniel! Let's tell the kids!" David said behind me.

"You know what? Let's not tell the kids." I said quietly.

I could tell he knew what I meant and gave me a hug.
