Twenty Two

"Daniel... I'm scared." David said as we drove though the dirt roads behind the camp.

"Don't worry! Geesh your such a baby!" I rolled my eyes as I spoke.

David gulped and clung to my arm.

"I can't drive with you on me dumass." I told him.

He let go and I looked over at him.

"I didn't say stop." I joked.

"Good!" He said as he grabbed my arm again.

We came to a stop at a clearing and David's eyes lit up.

"It's beautiful here! Wow!" He got out of the car and smiled brightly.

"That's not the best part..." I grabbed him and walked towards the forest.

Then...

A beautiful lake came into view. The sun setting over the mountains made the water sparkle. Just like David's big green eyes.

"Daniel... It's... Beautiful!" He lit up and looked as if he was glowing.

"Yes it is..." I said as I held him in a hug.

"How did you find this place?" David looked up at me and I smiled.

"Google."

David laughed.

"It's pretty great here, isn't it?" I asked.

"Of course! Thanks for taking me here!" He smiled.

"Only the best." I said before giving him a huge kiss.
