Tumultuous--Alex and Piper Fanfiction

The Day

It was Friday. Today was the day that Alex would be getting herself and her innocent girlfriend, involved in the only situation she said she'd never be in again. The worst part was she lied to Piper. The guilt was already forming up and it was only 9am. She woke up her sleeping beauty with a slight nudge on her shoulder, and softly said her name repeatedly. Piper stirred in between the sheets and stretched out her body, while releasing a quiet exhale.

"Morning." Piper's voice raspy and dry.

"Hey." Alex chuckled at how cute Piper was. She was not a morning person and Alex thought it was hilarious how irritated Piper gets when she has to be up.

The girls got up, out of the warm, white covers and headed to the kitchen to make breakfast. After Alex cooked eggs and bacon for the two of them and finished waking up, they headed back to the room to make sure they packed everything they needed. Piper has been crazy about packing these past few days, she thought it was necessary to pack for two weeks, even though they were going for 3 days. Alex on the other hand packed a few t-shirts and pants. She planned on being in her bathing suit the whole trip anyway. Alex's suitcase was half the size of the very prepared blonde.

"Babe, it really isn't necessary to bring that much shit." Alex laughed.

"It is! What if we get stranded somewhere? Having three pairs of underwear won't do justice!" Piper zipped up her packed suitcase.

"First of all, if we got stranded somewhere, your underwear would be the least of your problems. Especially considering how much of a princess you are." Alex winked at Piper, who was slightly offended but giggling.

"And second of all, you won't need that many clothes because I'm going to make it my personal mission that you're naked most of the time." Alex spoke again, loving the expression on Piper's face.

Alex and Piper joked for a bit before, finally, mutually agreeing they were ready to drive to the airport. The drive made Alex even more nervous for what was about to happen. She couldn't believe she was going through with this. Before taking off on the plane she was to call Kubra to clarify the plan. Piper and Alex we're about to board in 20 minutes, so Alex decided she should tell Piper she has to make a fast bathroom break and give her kingpin a quick call.

She headed into the very dirty, small airport bathroom that reeked of hospital soap and toilet water. She took out her phone, leaned one hand against the sink, and speed dialed Kubra. He picked up almost too fast and they had their much anticipated conversation. He thoroughly discussed the arrangement and explained how everything should pan out. It seemed too simple to Alex, as if it wasn't dangerous for her at all, even if she were to be caught. All she had to do was hand over a few suitcases, that were dropped off to her, which she didn't have to carry on her possession, then collect money and give those suitcases back to the original carriers. The heroin would only be in her hotel for a max of an hour, and the money even less than that. After talking to Kubra she felt more calm and less guilty for the whole situation. He made her feel comfortable...surprisingly, considering he has the power to end her life within seconds.

Alex exited the bathroom and headed back to the bench where Piper was sitting impatiently. After a few more minutes of waiting, they got up and boarded the plane. They sat in their seats and got settled in for the next 8 hours they would spend in these exact spots. For the first two hours they each watched some TV with their headphones in, and went on their phones. They both got pretty sleepy, so decided to take a little nap, which took up 3 hours. They only had three hours left. Alex had woken up first and got an idea. Piper who was still asleep but starting to get restless, had a blanket over her lap, so Alex took the opportunity to give her girlfriend a little...surprise.
