"I'm not leaving!" Alex banged on the bathroom door Piper was hiding behind. She could hear Piper sniffling and letting out small cries.
Alex was heartbroken. She knew she ruined this and would never forgive herself. She wasn't going to give up anytime soon though. No one had ever made Alex feel the way Piper does. She was going to do everything in her power to not let Piper slip away.
"Open the door please!" Alex yelled.
There was no response.
"Piper I swear to God, I'll stand here all fucking night until you talk to me." Alex punched the bathroom door as hard as she could.
Piper opened the door. She walked out with bloodshot eyes, her makeup running down her face, and pure pain filled her expression.
"I don't ever want to see you again." Piper's voice shook.
Alex broke down in tears. The brunette couldn't manage to get one word out.
Piper couldn't look at Alex. She walked over to the front door and opened it, she stood there and waited for Alex to leave.
Alex knew the minute she walked out of that door it was over, and she would never see Piper again.
Alex gathered herself and spoke. "Piper I have no place to go. I signed all the papers saying I've moved out, there's no chance I could get that back. Please just let me explain."
"Maybe you should have thought about that before risking my life, breaking my trust, and lying to me." Piper was pure pissed right now.
There was a moment of silence.
"It's over." Piper spoke again. A tear ran down her face.
Alex lost her composure and dragged herself out of the apartment.
As soon as Piper shut the door she lost it. The blonde placed her back up against the door and fell to her knees. She cradled herself as she cried uncontrollably.
Alex on the other hand, had no idea what to do. She had no place to stay, no clothes or belongings, but most importantly, no Piper. Alex did have 75,000 dollars but didn't even want to think of that money. It was the reason she was in this mess. She got the urge to call Kubra. Anytime she was ever in need of anything, or hurting, he was always there for her. She knew she shouldn't, but what did she have to lose? She'd already lost the most important thing to her.
Alex picked up the phone and dialed.
"Hello?" The deep, intimidating voice answered.
"Hey.." Alex sniffled.
"What's going on?" He sounded concerned.
"I need you." Alex cried into the phone.
"Come stop by."
They hung up.
Alex immediately regretted calling him. She knew that she shouldn't rely on her Kingpin, but he was all she had right now.
Piper stayed sat on her floor, leaned up against the door. She tried to think of reasons why Alex thought that was okay, or how Piper could ever possibly forgive her. She thought of nothing. Piper tried to make excuses for Alex and none seemed to make enough sense to do what she did. Piper already missed Alex, she felt bad for her too. But her anger took over her whole being and she reacted.
Alex got to Kubra's. She buzzed through the gate and had his security take her to him. He was in his man cave making phone calls and drinking scotch. She walked in, he finished his deal on the phone and she sat down in front of him.
