Chapter Eleven

"What did you do to him?!" I yelled.

I nearly passed out on the floor when I saw Tobi carrying a beat up and shirtless Jamie on his shoulders.

"Relax Rolli, he's lucky we just knocked him out after he tried strangling Laila." Tobi hissed.

My eyes grew as wide as saucers.

There was no way that was true!

Jamie would never hurt someone unless he was provoked and even after that he would never lay a finger on women. It's been his policy since he was a kid, which I've been guilty of abusing from time to time.

"My brother would never do such a thing!" I yelled as Tobi opened my cage and unceremoniously tossed Jamie in.

Jamie's already hurt body hit the floor with a thud and I nearly cried when I saw his blood seeping through the bandage.

"Oh my God, Jamie?! Jamie please wake up! Why would you do this to him Tobi?!"

"If you don't shut up I'll lock you up in a different location Leslie." Tyler growled out as he walked in followed by Regina.

Wait Regina?!

"Regina your alive?"

I looked her over and over. I wasn't dreaming, it was Regina. Older but it was definitely her.

She had a few scratches on her arms and face, a painful looking bruise on the right corner of her forehead, and a mark around her neck. It was defiantly in the form of two hands. It was red now, but soon it would turn into a nasty bruise.

Our eyes met and I saw they were hazel now, not green. Regina was Laila all along. Our friendship was a lie, her death a fake!

She was one of my best friends. She lied and betrayed me!

After the betrayal from Tyler this really didn't seem as bad but it still stung to see Laila standing there. The Gunns siblings were there, right under my nose and I never knew.

I felt stupid. Pathetic. An ignorant idiot!

Hot tears were forming in my eyes as I stared at Laila. I should have been mad but I wasn't. I was hurt.

"I had no idea." I murmured as I looked down to my brother.

"Sit down Laila." Tyler ordered tenderly as he led her to his chair.

She smiled at her brother and nodded, then sat and looked around curiously until her eyes landed on me again.

This time she really looked at me and her eyes grew wide in surprise. "Leslie's pregnant? Whose the father? Is it Jason?"

Tobi snorted as Tyler shot him a glare. I didn't even care anymore, I know they wanted us dead but Jamie is the one who is completely innocent here. He never harmed anyone and has tried so many times to get me to give up on my search. Now because of me he was forced to leave his career in the marines and is caged up like an animal.

"Laila calm down." Tyler murmured.

I looked up to see Laila grabbing her hair, pacing back and forth in front of my cage anxiously.

"How could you Ty? What are you going to do now? Are we going to just hold them hostage until she gives birth?"

"Yes, after Leslie gives birth we kill them both, we have no other choice."
