Damian looked at me as if I was the most intriguing creature he has ever seen.

I had just cut my hair shoulder length and he was the first I've showed. He stared at me with his gorgeous hazel eyes filled with childlike curiosity.

He looked so much like Tyler it was insane. Other than the obvious heart throbbing eyes, he had his father's complexion, and hair. You could even see tiny traces of freckles on his little baby cheeks.

"Have you been behaving for mommy?" I cooed as I picked up my miniature version of Tyler.

Four months has passed since Tyler passed. Mom and Jamie told me I had gone into deep depression after my son was born. I don't really remember it, but I guess it was pretty bad because they keep checking up on me and asking me if I'm ok. Especially mom.

She was a huge help with Damian but she treated me like glass. It was hard for me to tell who she was babysitting at times.

"Why do I even bother asking? Your always a good boy for mama. Yes you are!" I kissed my baby repeatedly on his cheek and awed when he drooled a little.

"Leslie sweetie you're home early." Mom came into the living room with a bottle and a burping towel. Good ol mom. "Oh my gosh, you cut your hair! You look fantastic!"

"Thanks mom, I wanted to do something different. Not too short?"

"Nonsense you look beautiful!" Mom replied as she shook Damian's bottle and sat on the sofa.

She was so reliable.

I guess I shouldn't be too hard on her for smothering me. She accepted little Tobi with opened arms. And when we told her the truth she was very understanding. She even gave Tyler's name to my baby.

Damian Ty Blackwood. I wanted Gunn but Jamie told me I was stupid to put my sons life in danger over a dumb last name. I wasn't able to keep my deal with Tobi but at least I could still nickname my son.

It's actually really funny when people ask what's it's short for and I tell them Damian. They give me that 'what' look.

Mom and Jamie don't see the humor in it. And Jamie still brings up how I sold my son's name for a candy bar, but it was actually two.

"Do you want me to feed him?" I asked mom as I sat next to her.

"Oh don't you dare take my grand baby and grandma time from me!" She whined then took Tobi from me and started feeding him.

Just then Jamie came into the living room and pulled out his earphones. He was sweating like a pig after his usual runs with Leila.

"Hey where's your dog?" I asked as I realized she was missing.

Jamie used his shirt to dry his face. "I had to go on my own today. She wouldn't be able to go in such a long run for now. Not until she has her litter." He grumbled.

I couldn't help but laugh; apparently Leila and Konrad were being very naughty at the compound and now she was pregnant by that beast. Jamie wasn't too thrilled about it, but there was nothing he could do. He did offer me the best pick of the litter and said he'd train and take care of it for me.

I'm not good with animals, in fact I still have to flush the clownfish I got for Tobi. I forgot to put it in the tank and after two weeks of no food it died.

That nemo will never be found.

The plant I got also died because I didn't water it. Which I don't get. No body waters the plants outside and they do just fine on their own. I guess it's just my luck. So it's a good thing he said he'll take care of the dog.
