45 : Eunwoo, Jimin & Hansol

EUNWOO'S POV

It's almost 7 PM when I finished all of my schoolworks. I don't have anyone to walk me home and I don't have my car since I decided to go to school through cab earlier. I guess I just have to walk myself home.

"Eunwoo!" I stopped from walking and tilted my head, but it seems like no one called me. My heart beated fast and just like any other teenagers, my head started thinking supernatural things. I don't know why but I started imagining ghosts, so I decided to walk faster. "Eunwoo-yah!" I swore inside my head and closed my eyes as I convince myself that no one is shouting my name.

My whole body froze when I felt something touching my wrist. I sat down and held my head with my hands while begging, "N-No! P-Please don't!" I begged while crying and then I heard a chuckle. It's a female chuckle because the pitch is too high and it sounds really feminine.

"Eunwoo," she called my name in a calmer and more gentle way and I don't know why my heart stopped from being wild. I opened one of my eyes and I felt like I became blind after seeing a goddess in front of me. She's chuckling and her hand is resting on my head. "Did I scare you?" She asked.

"D-Doyeon..." I stuttered and stood up. I felt my cheeks heat up, so I tried my best to hide my face in the dark. "W-Why are still here?"

"I was waiting for you, but it seemed like I scared you." She giggled and bit her lip for a split second. Shit. I don't normally curse or swear, but that lip bite made me cuss. "Are you going home, too?" She asked and we started walking towards the gate of the school. I feel like I embarrassed myself in front of her way too much.

"Y-Yeah," I nodded my head slightly, but I thought of Jimin. I wondered if he knew about Dahyun's state right now, but I remembered that I referred Tae hyung and his brothers to ask him instead. But still, I felt like going to him to ask things, so I decided to visit him. "I-I'll stop by at somewhere." I faced Doyeon. I expect that her smile would fade because I think she wants me to walk her home and I won't be able to do it, but she remained smiling.

"I want to go with you." She insisted, but I told her not. She's so persistent on coming with me, but I refused her over and over again. She mustn't know that Jimin is in prison because she will surely spread it throughout the whole campus and the others would know. This secret must remain hidden.

"Doyeon, I'm really sorry, but not tonight, okay? I'll just walk you home some other day." I said with finality. Her shoulders fell and she even pouted. I tried my best to resist her and it seemed like I succeeded because she surrended by sighing, defeated. "I-I have to go now." I smiled at her for a split second and was about to hop in the cab when I felt her lips on my cheek.

"Take care." She waved her hand and I was left struck after that gesture. I swear, I can't move when she kissed me. I shook my heads sideways and tried going back to reality.

I hopped inside the cab and told the driver my destination.

"Eunwoo." I got back in reality when Jimin called my name. His eyebrows are crossed and he looks at me confusingly. "Are you alright? You have been staring at nowhere for about a minute already."

"Y-Yeah, I-I'm okay." I sighed and composed myself. "What did Tae hyung say? Do you know where Dahyun went?" I asked him, hoping that he'll say yes, but my shoulders fell when he shook his head and sighed.

"The last time she went here is when I got mad at her..." he said in a low voice and I saw his tear fell on the desk. Maybe he's still guilty of what he told her. "...maybe I'm the reason why she left." He sniffed and wiped his tears using his bare hands, so I handed him my handkerchief and he gladly took it from me.

I don't know what to say. Should I agree with him or not? He may be a factor why Dahyun left, but I feel like there's something more. I need to find information about what really happened.

"What did her brothers tell you?" I asked.

"They asked me the same thing. I told them thay I don't know where Dahyun could be, but Mina suggested that she might be with that Hansol guy." My eyevrows crossed. Mina? Why was she here? And Hansol? Why would Dahyun ask for his help if he's mad at her? "And then after that, they left."

"Nothing else?" He shook his head, gesturing a 'no'. I sighed. "Why is Mina here?" I asked in curiousity.

He played with his fingers and locked his sight on it, "She told me that she's going to marry someone already and then she told me that she's letting me go." What? Is that real? I'm in awe. I never knew that Mina could be a good gal.

"Are you sure?" He nodded slowly. "I think it's impossible for Dahyun to go to Hansol."

"I don't know, she just suggested it." I sighed and thanked him for giving me a few infos. We talked about something else for a while and then I decided to go home.

DAHYUN'S POV

"Hansol!" I cried out for Hansol's name while holding his ringing phone. He left it on the bed and I was sleeping when it rang. The caller ID is making my heart feel fear because it says "Eunwoo".

Hansol then showed up in his robe while his hair is dripping wet. "Why?" He asked. I gave it to him and his eyes widened in shock. He told me to keep silent while he's talking to Eunwoo.

"Eunwoo-ah!" Hansol greeted his childhood friend with a jolly tone. "Why'd you call?"

"Hansol, did Dahyun go to you?" I tightened my eyes and prayed. Eunwoo is looking for me as well! This is less worse when my brother looked for me here yesterday.

"No and why would she go to me?" Hansol asked in a sarcastic tone.

"She's been missing."

"Really?" I wanted to laugh at Hansol's acting right now because it seems like he's really uninterested.

"Yeah and me and her brothers will track for her location and investigate." I gulped after hearing what just Eunwoo said. I became really worried and scared of how things will turn out. "Her dad is also worried of her situation."

"He got back?" Eunwoo hummed a yes from the other line. Since when did dad got back?! "Okay, I have to go to school now. Bye." Hansol was the one who ended the call first and he looked at me worriedly. "What are you going to do now, Dahyun?" He asked.

I fished my phone and threw the sim card away. I deactivated all of my accounts for a while and then looked back at Hansol.

"Dahyun, isn't it better if you'll just go back to them? Your family is so worried of your situation." He doesn't understand. "They're your family, they will surely understand how complicated your situation is."

"They're the ones who wanted to throw me away, Hansol, and you expect me to go back to them?" I asked with a low voice. His mouth suddenly stopped from preaching. "Since I was little, no one wanted to ever take me. My mom died, my dad left me--"

"But he still took you--"

"--and it's because I'm a responsibility. He's a well-known businessman, Hansol. Once the citizens know the real happenings, they will bring my dad down. He will start to lose everything." I said and went back to the room.
