Since I had Judo club today, I decided to slip in for half an hour to warm-up and go over some basics. I've been learning judo since I was small, so I was ahead of other club members; it wasn't necessary for me to stay. Sometimes I stayed, sometimes I left early; today is an example.

I met the owner of the game center again, behind the counter as always. "Oh, Messenger-chan! Why are you here again today?" I gritted my teeth at the nickname I received.

"Good afternoon, Slender Man-san," I said, giving him a dark smile, "I'm here because Yoshida-san lost the love letter yesterday." He seemed taken aback a bit, then showed me the way to Yoshida-san's room.

"Oi, Haru! Messenger-chan's here!" he knocked, the door was then opened. When I was inside, Yoshida-san was with three other people; Mizutani-san, Natsume-san and Sou. They were playing.

"Oh, hey, Aki!" Sou waved, we became friends through sports, we had similar interests, so on days where Hina was busy, I'd hang out with him and his other friends. I greeted him back, "Hi."

"And you!" I raised up a finger at Yoshida-san, "You're supposed to be searching for the love letter!" Everyone else looked confused. It was a good thing that he didn't tell them.

"You gave Haru a love letter?" Sou asked, raising a brow. I shook my head violently, why would I give it to someone like him? I don't get how Kobayashi-san likes him.

"I'm simply the messenger," I replied, I faced Yoshida-san again, "Are you gonna get up or what? Be grateful I offered to help!" Only because Kobayashi-san made a face no one else could pull off.... Yoshida-san got up and walked to a nearby drawer.

I realized something, "You won't mind if I go through your stuff?" He shrugged in reply, so I squatted and started looking for the letter too. I looked through drawers and saw some pictures, but I didn't want to cross the boundary so I looked away. I continued at the next shelf, it seemed full of books. I pulled them out one by one to check if anything in between the pages.

After an hour, I gave up. The rest had already left. I went through it again, this time I couldn't stop myself from flipping the photo. It was a photo of Yoshida-san and someone who seemed like his brother. I didn't bother to ask and flipped it back, but when I accidentally slid the photo to the side, I found the letter. "Hey, I found it!" I called, the letter in my hands.

I gave it to him to read it, and sat there obediently until he finished. I had to wait for a reply. I looked at him for any expressions, but none. "Replies?" I asked. Yoshida-san shook his head, seemingly to decline the confession.

But then he told me, "I can't read it." I looked at him, stone faced, then reached out a hand.

"Give it to me," I demanded, he followed my orders and I unfolded the paper inside.

I tried and tried, but it really was unreadable. Kobayashi-san usually had a cute and neat handwriting, but in this letter, she tried to make her letters all cutesy, with bunnies and bows and hearts. Too much of them, that the letters turned unreadable. Did she go through it after she was done? I sighed and put it down.

"I'll ask for her to rewrite it," I grabbed my bag and twisted the door knob, but a hand grabbed my wrist.

"We didn't introduce ourselves yet, aren't we friends now?" Haru asked. I swear I felt an anime irk vein pop out.

"I know your name, I'm pretty well-known in school, try asking around," I replied, shaking his hand off, "I never agreed to being friends though." I twisted the door knob quickly and took a quick step out, immediately closing the door after.

"Going home already, Messenger-chan?" Slender Man-san asked. I nodded, and waved goodbye. The sun was setting down the sloping hill that I ran after Yoshida-san yesterday.

The following morning, I gave the letter back to Kobayashi-san. "He couldn't read the handwriting," I explained. She nodded, eyes full of hope and went off to rewrite it. She could somehow read it, but it was her handwriting, she should be able to, right?

I hung out with Hina yet again. Afterschool before the clubs, she talked about her crush on this guy in Kaimei Private School. I rolled my eyes as she described him to be prince-like. I bet his personality isn't what she thought. "What's he like?" I pretended to be interested. She then basically shoved a picture of him into my face. I looked out the window and saw him standing at the gates. I looked back at the picture and at the guy.

"Is that him?" I pointed, Hina took a peek outside the window, then squealed in happiness, nodding.

"Well, let's go greet him then," I pulled her out, despite her whiny objections.

When we were in front of him. I waved. "Hi. You don't know me, or her," I motioned to the flustered girl in my grasp, "But she knows you, and she wants to know you better." What a good way to introduce ourselves. The guy looked hesitant, then he sighed, looking at his watch.

"Or I'll make your school life a living hell," I whispered, threatening him. I couldn't really do it, they were empty threats, but I do have connections in Kaimei.

He took one look at Hina, then gulped and nodded. Whatever reason he was here for, he didn't seem to mind. I gave Hina our good luck gesture, and left for Basketball club.
