We met back outside the hotel, a raging concern taking over me as I took Peter's collar in my fist. "Who is this person you know that has my brother?" I hiss, glaring at the prodigy who avoids my intense gaze.

Ally and Killua stare at me with wide eyes, surprised by my sudden temper.

When Peter remained silent, I shook him viciously, glaring. Why was I so upset? Shouldn't I be happy that I won't have to worry about Jesse anymore? Didn't he try to kill me? More than once.

So why?

I brutally release the male with emerald orbs, who runs a hand through his raven hair, sighing. "His name is Baylon, " he began. "Jesse sent him to kill you, but we all know what happened there." He shrugs, clenching his jaw.

Pausing, I take in his words, registering the meaning. But I thought he was dead. That I killed him. "He wants revenge, right? Wants to make suffer by hurting Jesse?" I guess in a whisper.

The white haired male next me to shuts his eyes, aware that he's useless in this situation. Frustration eats at his insides.

"Where?" I ask. "Where did he say they were?"

Peter's eyebrows knit together, narrowing his eyes. "You're not going alone."

"Watch me."

I feel a warm hand grab my wrist, whirling me around to face safe slanted orbs, concern shadowing them. "Think this over, Bitsy. It could be a trap."

But even he can't hold me back from making the biggest mistake of my life.

A cold and hollow laugh runs through the ends of my throat. "That's why only I'm going, this is my business after all." He winces but his grip doesn't falter. Instead, he takes a step toward a girl taken over by her demons.

Pulling my hand away, I turn around. "Take me to them, Peter."

My pink haired best friend, stands in front of me, her palm colliding with my cheek, a crackling echo shrouding the air. She glares at me. "Why won't you listen to us?! Think this through, you idiot!"

Ignoring her completely, I'm in on Peter's heel who presses his lips on her cheek before leaving. "Take care of Alluka, Ally."

"I'm coming, too." I heard Killua announce, taking my side, wrapping his arm around my shoulder. "You're my business."

My eyes soften. I hate this villian in my head. "Whatever, Zoldyck." I snicker, leaning closer to him. Hopefully his warmth would be enough to calm the ice in my heart.

We were given directions, Peter using his motorcycle while Killua took me with hesitation converting a shadow around his graying expression. I moved over his shoulder to stare at him clearer. "What's wrong?"

His answer was absolute, fearful. "I don't want to lose you." The ex-assassin's words sliced through me like an edged knife, my stomach twisting and turning against my will. We both knew that this was dangerous. If something were to happen-

I smile at him. "Don't worry, I'll make sure not to fall."

This seems to ressure him, even if it was just a little, because light blue electricity shrouds his body, static raising his snow white strands, I hold on tight. "Killua?" The male shifts his weight to see why I said his name as I catch him off gaurd with our lips crashing against eachother.

This kiss is short and yet lasts an eternity, no longer filled with craving but remembrance and loathing. As if it was our last embrace. But Killua pulls away in denial, he wouldn't give me up that easily and I hurt for him. His determined eyes spoke louder than anything: Don't be stupid, this isn't the end.
