The 16 year old Zoldyck stood at the edge of the rails, completely sure of himself. All while challenging his older brother with an amused stare.
It wasn't a surprise that Killua had become more resistant toward the likes of his tormenter, having his hostile emotions take over.
But before the ex-assassin could move, his brother spoke three words which caused Killua to stop in his tracks abruptly. Now more than ever, he wanted to slice his head off and drown him in his own pool of blood.
Illumi knew that he could win a fight with the Zoldyck's hier, but it would take time and precaution since the plan wasn't to kill him. Why would he want that? Although, it did seem to be Killua's intention, it was scrawled all over his face.
Was that a scowl?
[Sometimes things are meant to be broken . . .
Maybe they already are.]
Normal P.O.V.
The tall skyscraper of a person stood at the side of the road, leaning against a tree in silence. There was another man opposite to him who he slid a wad of cash to in a discrete, sly movement.
"What was it you wanted me to do again?" The man questioned, jaming the bills in his back pocket.
Jesse sighed, the way he usually did when he was dealing with complicated situations or people. Clearly, this guy wasn't very smart, that's problably why he he chose a job involving taking orders with easy money since he had no remorse for the lives he took.
But that exactly was what Jesse needed, someone capable of finishing the job without any secondhand after thoughts. A ruthless killer. "Shoot my sister the moment you make contact with her. Don't think about it, just kill her immediately."
As Jesse got a closer look at his newly-hired sniper, he realized that he wasn't really a man, or an adult for that matter. He was a teenage boy about the age of seventeen or eighteen. His hair was sleak, black and his eyes a light shade of chesnut, freekles visible.
The male held a large scar slicing through his left temple and Y/N's brother could only imagine how he received that stripped piercing. "Got it," he retrieved a picture of her from the same pocket and smirked to himself.
"Such a pretty young lady meeting her end at the demands of her younger brother. I wonder how this one will end. . ." he murmered as he dissapeared, blending into the mass of busy people.
Jesse watched after him, it wasn't rare for youngsters to be reeled in to the killing industry, but there was something odd about that kid. The way his eyes gleamed at the simple thought of ending another individual's life. Ending any chance of another day. He shivered, why was he so nervous?
BACK TO KURAPIKA AND LEORIO~
Kurapika froze, his grip tightening on the device. He pulled it closer to his ear. "What kind of problem, Gon?" Several worst case scenarios scrolled endlessly through his head.
The other side of the line was filled with panting, as if they had just ran a marothon. "It's kind of hard to explain right now but-" the Hunter paused, everything went soundless and then a loud crash broke out. Like glass breaking.
Gon's nervous voice was barely audible after the reckage, "Uh, we'll be there before dawn. S-see you soon."
He hung up and the blond was left with his mixed feelings to himself. The Kurta was still unsure of what 'problem' meant in terms of the situation at hand but he shrugged it off. He had other things to be worried about.
