Hermione Granger tapped her spoon gently but eagerly against her cup of tea as she awaited Ron, who was now running almost twenty minutes late for there supposed lunch date. She let out a frustrated breath as she looked around the small, but cozy English cafe. She wondered why she were even surprised? It was not as if this were a new thing. It was Ron after all. She did her best to ignore the looks of pity from others who obviously assumed that she was being stood up.
Regardless she smiled brightly as she saw him enter the cafe, and shake the freshly fallen rainwater off of his ginger hair. After he hung up his coat he made his way to her, he placed a quick kiss on her lips. "Sorry I'm late." He muttered as he sat down across from her and flipped through the menu, obviously starved.
"It's fine," She said as she to returned her gaze to the menu that she had already read over a dozen times while she waited for him to show.
The waitress came and took their orders, then came back with their meals in what she thought was record time. "This will probably be our last date until school starts," Hermione stated, trying to start conversation with Ron who was obviously more concerned with how much food he could fit in his mouth at once.
He did his best to swallow his food down as quickly as possible once he saw the stern look on her face. The look that over the years he has grown much to familiar with. He smiled, then took her hand. "We will have many dates just like this one at Hogwarts Hermione, don't you worry!" He said brightly as he returned to his scone.
"I've been developing new spell work, and charms," She spoke later again. "Mostly defensive of course, but I do hope to bring it up in class. Could you imagine if I could actually create a recognized and regularly used spell? It would be extraordinary!" She said in excitement. She wanted her name to go down in the history books for something, because she knew that even though she helped Harry every Step of the way, and he would surly be dead without her, She was not the "Chosen One" so she might as well be nonexistent.
He nodded as he picked up his tea to take a sip. "That would be wonderful." He agreed as he dived back to his meal.
She shook her head. No matter what she did she could hardly ever get a decent, intelligent conversation out of him. but then again, it were Ron.. What did she expect? She couldn't help but smile at the fool in front of her.
He was a clumsy babbling mess at times, but he was hers, and she loved him.

Hermione and Ron held hands as they made their way to kings crossing on Platform nine, and three quarters. She smiled at the familiar scene of the Train coming into view. Its loud engine filled the halls as it came to a stop. A tap on her shoulder made her turn around. "Harry!!" She almost yelled as she threw her arms around the unsuspecting Chosen One. "It's so good to see you!" She whispered as she deepened the hug. "Ginny!" She remembered as she pulled away from Harry, and pulled her into a long Embrace as well.
