After I finish my breakfast, I do some dishes and vacume the downstairs of the house.
"Mom, I'm going to the pack house!" I shout up the grand staircase.
"Alright dear, have fun and Watch out for rogues, oh and tell your father that we have an appointment today to find out the sex of the baby!" I smile excited to find out as well.
"Ok mom love you. Bye!" I take my purse and rush out the door to the pack house. It's only about a mile away, right off our property. I walk, since it will probably be the last decent day outside for a while. It's November 20th, so the weather is getting a bit Chilly.
I get inside the pack house about 20 minutes later and everyone greets me and I see my Sister sitting on a couch reading Divergent, one of my favorite books.
"Hey Ashe!" I say jumping onto her. Ashe is 25 and she has shoulder length medium redish brown hair and the same pale blue eyes as me only sometimes they look green depending on what she's wearing. . . lucky. She's super beautiful and all the guys of our pack always try to get with her. And now since I just turned 18, she said they'd be after me too.
"Hey sis, I see you finally woke up, sleeping beauty" She teased and chuckled cheerfully. I play shove her.
"whatever, I'll see you later. I'm gonna go say hi to everyone." I get off the couch and the first one I see is Nadia. pettite , skinny , pixie like features and long, thick chocolate brown hair.
"Hey Avery," She said shyly. I smile and greet her. As we talk Mandy and Lucy join us. Mandy is a tall , skinny brunette with mysterious brown eyes and she always wears black smoky eyeshadow add to the mystery. And Lucy, her complete opposite. Blonde hair, blue eyes, bubbly personality, light freckles, and all she wears is some lipgloss for her makeup. They are both gorgeous. Hell, our pack as a whole is just a fine ass group of wolves. we talk for a while and then i wrap up our conversation and start roaming around the house again. I pass the patio door and see Jack and Jason on the basketball court. They are brothers, both in their 30's. Both super muscular, dark hair and light brown eyes. The only difference is Jack is super sweet and Jason is super cocky and vain, but he's still a sweetheart sometimes. I wave to them as I pass by and while they are distacted, Jason throws the ball at Jacks head, he turns to his brother and they start play fighting. I giggle as I walk down the hall. As I come to the game room I can hear yelling. I turn the corner and see Ryan, Zachary, Robbie, and Leo all playing Call of Duty against eachother, and Shane quietly on the other side of the room playing chess against my dad. I turn to watch the 4 boys play. Ryan, muscley, brown hair, blue eyes, smooth olive skin. I'm just glad he got out of that stage whn he would blech his hair. Thick dark eyebrows and blone hair is a no-go! Zachary, everything a bout him screamed MAN! HIs dark fohawk, hazel-brown eyes, strong jawline, huge ass chiseled muscles. Any girl would swoon over him, he was SEXY! Leo, very short, neat buzzed and lined up hair that he would grow out sometimes, blue-gray eyes, skinny and tall, he was pretty quiet for the most part. Robbie, he was a little bit older than the rest of the boys, he was the same age as my sister. My sisters mate. Brown hair and kind brown eyes, he was really funny too, always knew how to make everyone smile. Then I turn to look at the other two. Shane, curly brown hair that he always had neatly styled, geep green eyes that I swear could stare into your soul. He's a big sweetie unless you get on his bad side...Like me. Then there's my old man. DArk hai, dark brown eyes, defined nose and jaw, plae skinn saided and wore a goatie, some say he looks like a pirate. I smile and walk over to my dad.
"Hey dad, mom wanted me to remind you that she's got a baby doc appointment today, and she wants you to come with." My dad shot his head up and beamed like he had just won the lottery.
"Yes of course! Sorry sport, I have to cut our game short," he said patting Shane on the back. Shane smiled and nodded his head. My father turned to me, hugged me tightly, gave me a kiss on the forehead and took off like lightning.
I laughed quietly, "sorry i took your partner away Shane."
Shane just smiled, "Its alright, maybe one of those four doofs will play with me." He said motioning towards Ryan, Zachary, Robbie and Leo.
"But for now, I think i'll do some reading." And with that he took out a massive medical textbook. One day Shane will be the best pack doctor out there.
I head back to the living room where my sister is, and I spot our Alpha, Trevor, sitting in a leather armchair like its a damn throne. His sandy brown hair spiked up and he's shirtless as usual, showing off his crazy toned abs. I switch my gaze over to his mate, our Luna Selena. Sitting in his lap. Her dark hair flowing down her back and her sultry light brown eyes scanning the room. I see Trevor whisper something into her ear and her full lips spread into a smile showing her pearly white teeth. They are definately a power couple. When Trevor isn't shirtless, around the pack house showing off, he is suited up. And Selena was already looking the part, with her royal blue blouse, tight black pencil skirt and blue stiletto pumps. As I make eye contact with Trevor, his icy blue eyes narrowed at me, making me kind of uncomfortable.
"Hey Avery!" I hear Trevor call. I cringe internallynand turn to him smiling. He smiles back wickedly and motions for me to come to him.
I slowly walk to him, "yes my Alpha?"
"Not getting into any trouble are we?" He asks with a knowing tone in his voice. Why would he ask me that?
I shake my head an force a chuckle, "not at all sir, just going out for a run."
"Just watch out for rogues, they can't be trusted can they Selena?" I look at Selena and she just nods, still scanning the room. What a weird couple, i think to myself. I nod my head as well.
"Where will you be taking your run Avery?"
I think of something quickly, "oh just in the western part of our territory." He nods approvingly.
"Good, you shouldn't run into any trouble there." I nod and we say our goodbyes.
Like I said before, WHAT A F*CKING WEIRD COUPLE!
