Angrily throwing his shirt at the locked door, Harry undressed as fast as he could to get into the warm, inviting shower.
As if the Order not trusting him was enough, he also had a horcrux on him.
A horcrux.
In other words, a piece of Voldemort was literally ON HIM.

With that thought in mind, Harry reluctantly jumped into the shower.
He removed his glasses and placed them by his wand on the counter.

So what was Harry in this game of chess? If Dumbledore was the white pieces, and Voldemort was the black, what was Harry? A pawn?
He certainly wasn't choosing a side now that he'd overheard.
He figured Snape would already find him out by now.

Sighing at the thoughts running in his mind, Harry scrubbed at his unruly hair and finished his shower a few minutes later.
He made a quick show of looking in the mirror to dry his hair and body before he felt it, the light and warm pulsing on his chest.
Gulping quietly, Harry transfigured his clothes into a simple pair of pajamas.
He just needed to get the well needed sleep that his friends constantly nagged him about.

He was so bloody done with what the world had to throw at him.
It just wasn't fair- but Harry knew that's how it worked.
He wasn't going to be stupid and reckless anymore, he'd need to think things through and he'd be smart.

He could be smart.

He put on his glasses and slipped his wand into the back of his waistband.
It certainly didn't hurt to be cautious.
Repeating the phrases in his head, Harry let out a breath and hung up the towel on a hook before exiting the bathroom.

Giving Tom a brief glance, he perched on the other side of the bed, looking out the dingy window. It was dark outside and the sun had already gone.
Harry simply watched on.

Harry had fallen asleep a moment later, leaning against the bed frame with his glasses barely hanging on to his nose.
It was then that the dream had begun.
The locket began to glow and pulse against the pale skin of Harry's neck.
