Draco's sixth year was still as messy as ever.
Dumbledore had died.
Had been for a good while now after he completed his mission. He had found out about something vital to Voldemort's plan, and he had been eliminated... at the hands of Draco himself...and Snape.
It was something that haunted him till this day.He remembered those twinkling bright eyes disappear from his view as they turned dark, filled with grim acceptance.
It seemed even though he was shocked in his final moments but he wasn't truly disbelieving of the situation in front of him.
As if he knew, but didn't think it would be so soon.Draco, pale, had trembled before him, his wand aimed at his chest in the tower as he began to stammer out that Dumbledore would be no more.
He has disarmed the old man, but what good could he do?
He couldn't hold himself together, and he struggled to hold his wand straight as his mind raced with the thoughts that everything had gone so horribly wrong, and everything was passing by much too quickly for his liking.
His stomach was churning and he felt ill.He had faltered when he felt a large hand rest on his shoulder before he was roughly pulled from his place in the tower and was shoved behind someone.
In a daze, he watched as Dumbledore's eyes filled with familiarity before they hardened at the sight of the cloaked figure in front of him.
His eyes had watered and a single tear fell from his eyes.Draco has stumbled and fallen backwards, only able to see what little could as Snape had stalked forward towards the man, and there were angrily whispered words coming from him.
There was a gap in Draco's memory from that point on.
He remembered Snape's cloak from behind, and then he remembered suddenly being in his manor home after Dumbledore's fall.He trembled at the thought of such a powerful man being dead now.
Although it had occurred two weeks prior, there were always going to repercussions that came quickly from any sort of event.
It was then he recalled those moments with Hermione and Ron not too long ago, who had pestered the pale boy though he himself was questioning his own actions.
"You had something to do with it!" Hermione accused Draco, her wand threatening as it poked into his throat.
"You filthy mudblood, I haven't done a thing!" Draco seethed out, his eyes narrowing on their own accord.
He was full of anger and vividly recalled his fist tightening around his wand handle.
He felt the magic in the wood hum against his palm."''mione!" There was a startled shout, and the hall started to clear as everyone went to their classes.
"If I see you and-" She made a pained expression that turned to anger, "Headmaster Snape together, I will be watching. I will be watching your every move you sick and twisted psychopath!"
With a frustrated and angry cry, she recoiled and walked away quickly.
Ron gave a wary glance to Draco but seemed upset at what he had said.
And how could he not be?Granger was right after all.
Draco was in the Room of Requirement, specifically within the room of hidden items that was full of mystery.
He had thought of that as his most recent wish when planning his visit, as he had nothing else to do and all he wanted to do was escape this world.
He was sprawled over a couch that was in a corner of the room.
He felt miserable.
He hated to say it but he absolutely needed that Potter boy.
He was the one person he could keep tabs on in Hogwarts and pin his problems on.
However, maybe it was good he wasn't here anymore, as the Dark Lord was still searching for him, whether it be dead or alive.Draco shivered, unease filling his body as he began to sit up.
It was then he heard movement in what had been the silent room.He stilled.
