That evening Aryanna stayed at Lesley's house as David (Lesley's husband) had gone to America for a business meeting.
"Awww, give him to me" Aryanna said, kissing Michael, Lesley's three year old son.
Although Aryanna tried to look happy, Lesley could see that she was upset. After all, they had been best friends for over ten years.
"What's wrong, Arrie?" askes Lesley.
"Ah, nothing" Aryanna replied.
"Don't try it, just tell me, I know there's something wrong" Lesley spoke.
"I saw Maria today" whispered Aryanna.
"WHAT! The Maria from our school?" questioned Lesley, amazed.
"Yes, Yes, Maria Khan, the one from our school. She told me that Valy and Haily were happy but Haily can't have children" Aryanna answered.
Aryanna felt all the memories of those times rush back. She said Valy's name for the first time in ten years.
"Oh... okay" Lesley said.
Lesley looked at Aryanna and smiled. Aryanna burst into tears.
Lesley ran to her ane hugged her.
"It's okay" Lesley said.
"Ten years you know, ten years I've lived without seeing him or my best friend, ten years I've been crying and regretting" Aryanna said, crying.
"Ten years of my life that will never come back" Aryanna cried.
"It's alright, one day you will be happy, one day the sun will shine again. You don't need Valy or Haily, you have me. I will be here to wipe your tears, I will give you a shoulder to lean on when you are not strong and I will always love you" said Lesley, assuring Aryanna.
Lesley repeated, "I will always love you".
