After five minutes, or what seemed like five years to Aryanna, she lifted her head.
She reminded herself of the promises she had made in the past and the promises she had made Valy make. Valy was to marry Haily and not her. She wanted her best friend to be happy but now she was betraying her best friend? She was never to look up to another man or fall in love again.
"Valy, I can't be with you, I haven't changed my mind since four years ago. I still want you to marry Haily and forget about me" Aryanna said.
Every word stung Valy.
"What?..." Valy whispered.
"Yes, please for me, marry Haily and forget me" Aryanna said.
Valy's heart was in his throat.
"So... you still don't want me? You still want me to be with Haily?" asked Valy.
Aryanna nodded.
Valy had hopes this time but Aryanna made him lose all hope, again.
"This will be the last time we will ever meet, don't regret anything. I WILL get married to Haily, I WILL live all my life with her but remember one thing I WILL NEVER love her" said Valy, full of emotion.
All Aryanna did was cry as Valy walked out.
Amaan ran to her and hugged her.
"Amaan, you never told me that you love me, look everyone knows I have never loved anyone other than Valy and will never love anyone other than him" Aryanna confessed.
"Yes, I know, I know I will never get you to love me but I will also never love anyone as much as I love you. I don't know why you are doing all this but I hope one day evrything will be fine" Amaan said, assuring Aryanna.
"Thanks for being such a good friend" smiled Aryanna.
Amaan smiled back.
"Everything will be fine" he said.
