" Lucaya ? " Riley asked in shock. " Maya ? How could you ? "
" I - I didn't mean to , Riley . I'm so sorry. "
" You didn't answer how could you ? " she answered the last part fiercely . " Why hide it from me ? "
" I didn't want to hurt you ! " she completely ignored me and turned to Lucas.
"How could you ? " Riley asked Lucas .
"Leave him out of it . It was my idea not to tell you. Lucas said I needed to tell you , but I didn't . Don't blame him , okay ? " I cut in.
" Maya - "
"No ! " I cut Lucas of because he was trying to defend me. Josh stood up off from the couch , he just read the blog . Great so the whole town has probably seen the blog . The whole town knows me and Lucas and the town kissers . Josh looked at me and looked away. He looked at Riley and put his head down .
" Maya ! " Riley yelled . Trying to get my attention.
" Look Riley I'm super sorry about that . "
"Really that's all you have ? I saw a picture of Lucas sticking his tongue down your throat ! And all you have is sorry?" I couldn't hold on my anger . Just like the other day , I blew up .
" Riley! I've been trying so hard not to kiss Lucas , so hard ! These past few days have been hard ! I understand Riley you're upset , I would be to ! But don't act completely clueless . I mean , you've known something has been going out on! And , Riley it's really hard to resist someone that likes you back . It would be different if that person didn't like you back ! " As I said the end I looked at Josh , habit , that's all . " I mean do you think this was a one sided relationship ? No offense to Lucas , but he wasn't helping ! He wouldn't take no for an answer ! No offense Lucas . " I said looking at Lucas.
" None taken , it's true. "He said back.
" Riley I would never intentionally do that ! I would never think oh my gosh Lucas is awesome , imma date him ! Riley I had no intention to do that to you ! Look , I know I messed up , okay! But it hurts me to know that you think I would purposely do that to you ! " I finished.
A tear fell down Riley's face , which made a tear fall down mine. I hate it when Riley cries , even though she does that a lot. Then we both started crying , full on crying . As we cried we walked towards each other and went into a hug , then we cried.
" Why do girls do that after fights?" Josh spoke for the first time .
" Who knows ? " Lucas said back .
So the rest of the day went well . Riley wasn't super happy about me and Lucas , but she did allow it. She said as long as we didn't kiss in front of her it was okay . And we could only hold hands twice a day , unless special occasions . But , I guess that was better than nothing. As we all were playing tag , - yes kiddish , we know , but fun , - the doorbell rang. I opened the door to a tall , brown haired , brown eyed guy.
" Hi ! " He said to me
" Stiles! " Josh said running to the living room bay window (base) and then ran up behind me . "Hey man !"
