" Stiles? " Josh excitedly questioned as he put his arm around me. " What are you doing here? I can't believe you're here!"
" Well , I came to see my best bro . " He lightly hit Josh in the shoulder. He looked at me . " And your girlfriend ? " He asked/said pointing at me .
" Oh , " Josh looked back and forth through me and Stiles , he continued , " no man . This is Maya , Riley's friend . Why would you think we were dating ? " He asked , I mean I was confused , too.
Stokes pointed at Josh's arm around me . Oh , that made a little sense. " That . " Stokes said .
" Oh , no . We're not together man , just friends . " Josh cleared up taking his arm off of me .
" Oh , it just seemed like you were since you're always talking about her , too. "
" What that's not true . " Josh said giving me a quick glance , then looking back at Stokes , " I talk about her cause she's always with Riley. " he finished
" But you don't talk about Riley that much . Whatever man , just let me in . " Stokes said back. I backed out of the way and sat on the couch. Did Josh like me ? Butterflies flew into my stomach. Stokes sat in the chair closer to the door. Josh got root beers from the fridge for everybody, and passes them around. Lucas came beside me and put his arm around me . I put my head on his shoulder.
" Minus one loving , one more to go . " Riley said without looking at us.
" Hey ! " I said . " You said two holding hands no kissing unless special occasions for both. You didn't say anything about this . " I said pointing my finger around me and Lucas .
" Bu- " She started to say but I interrupted with my " Dab , dab !" with my quick ,one handed , two dabs , and ran over two Riley grabbed her fresh undrank root beer ( since mine was flat) and ran to the kitchen with it . I gulped it down quickly , I shook it and gave her an apologetic look and evil laugh .
" Maya ! " She said sounding exhausted .
" Fine . " I said grabbing a root beer out of the fridge . I tossed it to her from behind the kitchen island . Riley caught it from the front of the coffe table .
" Okay , Josh , I like her! " Stokes said , pointing at me.
" Thank you ,thank you ! " I said bowing . I grabbed my phone and went out the door. And , of course , Lucas followed.
" Hey cowboy ! " I said
" What's up ? " He said to me
" Hey , hwy . You followed me ! "
" Okay , fine . Wanna go on a walk ? On the beach . " He asked.
" And why would I want to do that ? " I asked playfully .
" Because, I thought you liked me . " He hit me with a good comeback .
" Oh , oh I do . " I laughed at the end.
" Okay ... Follow me ! " Lucas grabbed my hand and pulled me down the hall.
Me and Lucas walked on the beautiful beach. It took us a while to get there , though. We walked down the beach , hand in hand . We sat on a sand hill. He put his arm around me , I put my head on his shoulder. I started shivering , Lucas handed me his jacket. It was a perfect night. I ended up falling asleep. I had a dreamless , relaxing dream . Nice and nothing. I woke up to a phone call. It was Sarah.
Hey Guys !!!! I wanted to let you know in the next chapter or two or around that , I'm gonna have a few Riley chapters , just to get a more dramatic and different perspective just so you guys know. Hope you liked!!! Whhat does Sarah wanna talk to Maya about???
