Maya's POV
I wake up in the morning to my alarm clock going off , like it does every morning. With my head still in my pillow , I search for the off button . As I find it and turn it off my phone starts ringing. It's Riley (aka by BFF ) calling me asking me what she should wear to impress her crush , Lucas.
"Hello" I say with I tired and irritated voice.
"Come to my house right now! I have a crisis!"
"I wouldn't call not knowing what to wear a crisis . "
" Yes it is!" I rolled my eyes " The Spring Fling Dance is in 3 months ! I have to impress him ! Get over here NOW !"
"What about me I have people to impress , too . "
" All the clothes in your closet are perfect , Maya ! Please come ! "
I got out of bed and started getting ready. " Okay be there in 20 . "
" Thank you ! "
"Yeah , yeah , bye."
After getting ready I usually go to Riley's house. While I'm there she talks about Lucas and Farkle. Farkle's a genius. We actually think he's a robot.
As I am to Riley's apartment I see the same people I see everyday. Mrs. Jamie with her daughter Kiara , Mr. and Mrs. Nickel walking their dog , and other people that I know.
When I get to Riley's house I help her find a cute outfit to impress Lucas , eat pancakes , and walk Riley to school cause she doesn't like going by herself . Which I can understand cause you never know who's on the street . I grab my back pack and start walking to school with Riley , we get on the subway and talk about things to ask and say to Lucas . When we get to school Riley goes off and talks to Farkle and Lucas the usual and I feel kinda left out cause they all fit in together so well , all so geeky , literally . Lucas is always shy and a good guy and that gets SUPER annoying . Farkle is super smart and exactly like Riley . And Riley is the best person in the world and I love her with all my heart , she just needs to grow up , last year she pulled out a unloose tooth to get money from the tooth fairy ! She's so dorky and fits in so well. I usually just stand in the back and listen to their conversation. Occasionally I'll talk to Farkle and make fun of Lucas by calling him , Huckleberry , Bucky Mc Boing Boing , Hop Along , Ranger Rick , and Ranger Roy.
After a few classes we go to lunch and I just watch Riley try to flirt with Lucas and I try my best not to laugh. I usually just sit there and eat . After lunch we go to Riley's dad's class ( aka Mr. Matthews) and sit in our everyday seats even though we can sit where ever we want unless he moves us . After that I have art where I get complimented on my art everyday . I have some other classes and then walk Riley home like anyother day . This happens everyday , surprisingly every year , too .
I fall onto my bed and fall asleep ...
I hope you guys like this chapter/book to be I know this chapter was kinda short and boring but I had to do stuff before the change came in so u knew what is normal and not .... so srry it was short and stuff i hope u like it BYEE YA'LL
