"H-hello ? " I said into the phone .
"Hey , Maya ! " Sarah said back
" What's up ? "
" I was just wondering if you wanted to hangout and s-stuff ? "
"What other stuff ? " I looked back to Lucas who was texting someone in his phone , not looking , too happy.
" Oh I don't know I just said that cause we could like watch a movie , eat some froyo , a party ! I don't know , anything I guess .
"Why?" I said back .
" I just wanted to hang out with you because you seem like a cool person . "
"O-okay? " I said a little confused .
"Great ! " She hung up.
I put my phone away and tilted my head in confusion . I went and sat back down beside Lucas .
"Was that your other boyfriend ? " he asked in a playful tone .
" No , was that your girlfriend ? " I asked , in the same time as him.
" No actually , um it was my Pappy Joe. " he said with a little upset time .
" I thought you liked him ? "
"No , no , I love Pappy Joe . There's just some , uh family stuff. "
" Oh , " I didn't think the perfect Lucas had family stuff. " Well if you need someone to talk to about , call or tell me , okay. " I put my head on his shoulder .
" For sure . " He promised , he put his arm around me . Then , we shared are nice, soft , slow , pecked kiss.
The Next Day:
We all were at Riley's , me , Lucas , Stiles , Josh , Riley , Farkle and Zay. Doing , nothing .
"I'm . So . Boreeeddddd!" Riley yelled.
" Me. Too! " I yelled , laying on the floor.
"Same ! " Everyone else yelled from the couch , couch seats and table.
"It's gonna be like this for another week , too ." Josh added in .
" Uggghhhhhh! " I yelled and threw a floor tantrum. " So boring! " I let all my limbs fall down. " Ow . " I said quietly .
"We . Need . To . Do . Something . " Stiles said laying down on the kitchen bench across from Josh .
"Agreed ! " All of us say agreeing with Stiles' plan.
"How about ... ? " Riley said , trying to find a place to go .
I grabbed my phone and scrolled through it . I sat straight up and said " The carnival ! "
"Yes ! That is perfect ! " Stiles said sitting straight up , too.
"Yeah ! " Everyone agreed and everyone who was laying down sat up .
"So I'm guessing we should go tomorrow since its already 4:30 ?" I estimated .
" That sounds good . " Lucas said .
"Great . " I said looking at Lucas giving him a smile. I looked at everyone else . "Any objections ? "
Everyone said "nope " singly except Riley, she said "Barf ! "
