10 Tēru no Otoko

Six years later

Naruto sat peacefully on top of a mountain as nature energy flowed in and out of him as if it were breathing through him. Naruto had been in this position for almost five and a half months. Normally if any other person had tried this type of training they would have died in the first month due to dehydration or starvation but Naruto is a special case, as his basically endless chakra reserves supplied him with the basic needs of the human body.

The area around Naruto was flat due to Naruto using his abnormally strong wind affinity to blow the tip off of the mountain giving him a clearing to sit down on. Naruto was surrounded by many resting animals. Around him were three hibernating grizzly bears which had found a resting place near him due to the warmth he radiated. 

He was also surrounded by some coyote, raccoon, bobcat, grey fox and even beavers. A bird actually made a nest in his hair also. But Naruto either did not mind or notice. Naruto radiated power and purity which is quite amusing due to the fact that he once housed what could be considered the most impure being that had graced the earth with its presence. 

Naruto had grown to the impressive height of six foot three. His unruly hair had grown and now reached down below his butt. Naruto did not have a trace of fat on his body giving him a ripped but lean body figure. Naruto's face had matured from his time away from the Konoha. He had a chiseled jawline and sharp cheekbone giving him a mouthwatering appeal.  

To anyone looking at Naruto from the outside, it would seem as though he was sleeping and unaware of his surroundings. They would be sadly mistaken. Naruto was aware of his surroundings and the surroundings that were continents away from him. You see Naruto spread his chakra around the whole of the Elemental Nations and some, which basically allowed him a front row seat of everything that was happening everywhere. 

Naruto had mastered chakra to the point where he could densify his chakra to the point where it was a solid object. Now while it does not seem like that interesting of an ability it was actually very useful. Meaning whenever Naruto noticed something going on in the world that he did not approve of he could deal with it without lifting a finger.

Naruto's brow furrowed when he noticed five familiar chakra figures closing in on his position from four hundred thirty miles away. While Naruto could get an outline of peoples chakra and gain an idea of what they were doing he could not get a clear image of anyone's face so he could not identify anyone with certainty. 

For the first time in almost half a year, Naruto opened his eyes. Naruto squinted as his eyes were assaulted by the glaring rays of the sun. Naruto took a minute to get his eyes use to the sun again. Naruto let out a deep breath as he lifted his hands and gently removed the bird's nest from his head. Naruto reached his hands out and willed a small pillar of stone to grow on the flat ground. Naruto put the bird's nest on the stone and stood up waking the animals from their slumber. 

Naruto stood up slowly on shaking legs. ' *tch* I guess that's what I get for not using them for a long time,' Naruto stretched his arms and legs out while yawning.Naruto looked around and saw that all of the animals were now awake and alert. 

" Uh, Hi," Naruto said sheepishly. his voice was hoarse and scratchy from not being used for a long period of time. Naruto may have been hallucinating from his eyes being unused for so long but he could he swore he saw a tick mark form on the head of the animals. Naruto cleared his voice.

" Now down to business," Naruto said to himself this time his voice came out smooth but had a strong undertone to it that demanded respect. Naruto closed his eyes and took a deep breath of air as he spread his chakra out once more. ' Oh now they're only twelve miles away, they're pretty fast,' Naruto thought inwardly complimenting them. Naruto sent a pulse of chakra through his body essentially 'waking up' his body in case the three people were hostiles.
