30 miles from territory border: Mountain Pack Territory: Densite: Late Spring
High in the ragged pecks of the mountains rested the densite of the most fearsome and dangerous wolves ever to have exsisted. It wasn't where they lived that made them dangerous, nor how they treated eachother. What made them different was how they were raised. The pack was once ruled by Shadow, a wolf with a raven black pelt and a killers heart. Once his pups were old enough to survive off their mothers milk, he killed his partner, to show how cruel life was. His last litter was all killed for one who had escaped from his wrath with one of the two year olds.
But Shadow was not the alpha anymore. His best student and daughter, Victoria, has taken over the pack and has followed in her father's pawsteps. A three year old, grey wolf with red stained fur. Victoria is as cruel as she is beautiful.
Her den rested on a ledge, above all of her... subjects. And as she exited her den, she was greeted by a black, scar ridden wolf, named, well, Scars. Beside Scars was Danger, a brown coloured wolf.
"Has the pup been located?" Victoria asked, he voice sinester.
"Yes, Alpha," Scars bowed.
"Then send the pack out," Victoria ordered, "its time to begin the hunt."
Scars and Danger nodded, before howling a nightmareish howl.
"Hear the roar of the world, pup," Victoria snarled quietly to herself, "it will be one of the last sounds you'll ever hear." The red stained wolf looked over her pack, but the wolf she needed to speak with was not here. She snarled slightly, "Iowa!"
The four year old grey wolf with rustic markings walked to the ledge and bowed before her alpha. "Yes Alpha?" Iowa said, wondering as to why she was called upon.
"Find my scout and bring her here," Victoria ordered. Iowa nodded and bowed before she left to find the scout.
------
The nightmare howl echoed throughout the Mountain Pack Territory, catching the attention of a two year old wolf. She was a colour unlike any wolf, gun-metal grey, rusty brown and black fur. If her eyes weren't bright yellow and lively, she would look like a dead wolf walking.
"Looks like Victoria found where the pup's at," she growled to herself, "why can't she leave the kid alone?"
"Well, at least I now know how you feel about Alpha," someone chuckled, coming from the trees behind the wolf.
"So what Iowa, you gonna drag me back to the den to get punished by Victoria," the wolf snarled, stepping away from Iowa.
"It's Alpha to you, Ghost, but no, I will keep your secret..." Iowa said. Ghost nodded at the blind wolf and began to walk past her. "But." Ghost stopped in her tracks, eyes narrowed at Iowa. "You must do something for me, whenever, wherever. If I call, you must do my bidding, or Alpha will hear of this."
"Fine," Ghost said. Iowa smiled and walked away. "For now, Blind Rat." Ghost followed Iowa back to the den in the ragged peaks of the mountains.
3 miles from territory border: Snow Pack Territory: Forest Path: Late Spring
Darkness and Silver ran at full speed through the forest. The ground was wet, muddy and sticky. They hoped they would catch up to Faita before she got anywhere near the human farm, but so far they were having no success. Silver was much faster than her brother and therefore for led the way, where's Darkness, his strides were long and powerful.
"ARGH."
Silver stopped in her tracks. She turned around and saw her brother on the ground, covered in mud.
"Dark, are you okay?" She asked as she approached. Darkness looked up at his sister as he slowly got up, holding his left back leg off the ground.
"Yeah, I'm fine," he said, his voice traced with pain, "its just my leg again."
"Do you want to slow down?" Silver asked, tilting her head slightly.
Darkness shook his head, "no, we have to keep moving." He looked out to the trees seeing figures run through them, disappearing and reappearing like ghosts in horror movies. "Because we are not alone."
Silver nodded and started to run. Darkness ran behind her, his back leg off the ground as he ran. But the figures continued to follow them through the forest. Silver looked behind her an Darkness.
"They're still following us," she snarled slightly. Darkness looked behind them, noticing the figures had not left their trail yet. Darkness bared his teeth, then turned his attention back to the trail in front of him. But something in the corner of his eye caused more alarm then the figures behind them, especially since it was running straight for Silver.
"SILVER!"
Silver turned around a millisecond too late as she was slammed to the ground by a wolf coloured light grey with black on her back. Darkness sped up as much as his three legs could take him to help his sister. He was less than a few centimeters from his sister when a brown and tan wolf slammed him to the ground. The air was knocked out of Darkness' lungs as he hit the ground with so much force, it was lucky he didn't break any bones.
"Stay down, Rogue!" The brown wolf growled, his teeth bared at Darkness, "or I'll kill you before you can blink." Three more tan, brown and black wolves appeared from the trees, snarling and growling at the two downed wolves.
"We're not rogues," Silver said. The grey wolf holding her bit down harder on her neck, making her yelp slightly.
"Leave her alone!" Darkness shouted. In return, the brown wolf bit down on his neck, but Darkness made no reaction.
"Like we're gonna listen to you," smirked one of the tan and brown wolves who had more black fur then the rest. "Let's take these Rogues to Snowstorm," she ordered to the other wolves. Silver looked at Darkness with wide eyes as they were both dragged away. Little did they know, someone was watching the whole scene.
