Numb

Proposal 1

"Yuuuurii!!" I call out to my beautiful soon to be husband. My platinum hair fell in my face while I waved at him. He turned beet red as I made it over to him.

"V-victorkun! Why did you have to yell?" Yuris' eyes look up at me threw his glasses. He shifts uncomfortably due to all the attention on us. I laugh at how adorable he looks. Ah... Yuri you never change.

While running my fingers threw my hair, I smiled at the ground. "Sorry, Yuri, I just got excited to see you," I looked up and stared at his eyes, "I missed you!" I brought Yuri close to me. Whilst pulling him into my arms the familiar scent of cherry blossoms made its way into my lungs. Sometimes I wonder how I got so lucky with finding Yuri.

I heard Yuri let out a loud sigh, "I was just in the bathroom." Although I could not see his face, I knew he was smiling.

"You took way too long and you know that I get lonely without you next to me, my little pork cutlet bowl."

Birds flew over us as we stood in the park starring at each other. I took his hand in mine and started to walk to the pond on the other side of the park. It was surrounded by tall grass, trees, and a few park benches.

Yuri blushed at the physical contact of our hands. "V-victor!" He quickly turned his head away from me, trying to hide his embarrassment but I still caught a glimpse. He is just too cute for my health!

All of the sudden I felt something hit me in the ribs. I looked over at Yuri and he turned to me. "Did you see that, Victor?" He looked of in the distance while pointing towards the lake.

"No... What was it?" Yuri looked back to me with a huge smile on his face. His dark eyes were filled with wonder and at that moment I could have sworn sparks were igniting in them. Internally, I thanked the gods that this younger male was mine and only mine.

"There was a huge black bird over by the lake; I think it was a swan. It is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen!"

As I heard the last sentence, I felt a frown form on my lips. "What about me, Yuuuurii?"

He looked at me confused for only a second before his face turned into one of horror. Immediately, he fell to the ground doing a full bow, "Please forgive me!"

Placing my hand over my heart I dramatically say, "You have wounded me."

"Victor, I did not mean it when I said the bird was more beautiful than you. I meant it was better than all the other birds I have seen. Nothing could be better than you in any way to me because I love you."

I could not help but smile at my little piggy, "Awe Yuri loves me!"

He snaps his head up at me and starts to vivaciously shake it. He even put his arms up and shook them back and forth in front of himself. "No. No. No. Yes. I mean no. I mean I do but that's not what-"

"Yuri," I said interrupting him, "We have been dating for several months now. When will you get comfortable with saying you love me?" He let out a sigh and stared up at me. Laughing, I offered him my hand; he took it and stood up. "You want to get something to eat? I am starving."

A smile formed on his face, "I would love to go eat."
