Proposal 2

"Victor, this is that really fancy place isn't it? This is way too expensive!" Yuri turned to me with his mouth open in surprise. 

I closed his mouth for him, "Anything for you, My Love. Nothing is too expensive." I slowly moved closer to him, stopping just centimeters from his face. Gently rubbing my thumb over his bottom lip I looked into his eyes. How does he keep doing this to me? It's like every time I see him I can not help but be enthralled.

Yuri quickly jumped away from me. I gave him a questioning look. As his face began to show his embarrassment he whispered, "Victor, you can not keep doing this to my heart. It's not healthy."

"What about my heart?"

He looked at me confused, "I do not do anything to you the way you do it to me."

"Sadly that is true but you do mess me up in your own way." Yuri looked thoughtful and stayed silent. "Come on, let us go eat. I mean it is what we came here to do." I swiftly grabbed Yuri by the arm and led him inside the restaurant before he could even reply. Bringing him up the the counter, I start to talk to the lady, "Hi, reservation for two under Nikiforov."

She looks at her paper then grabs two menues. "Right this way," she says as she walks us to our booth. Once we were seated she spoke again, "My name is Jess and I will be your server tonight. Can I start you off with anything to drink?" Jess clicked her pen and looked at us.

I looked at Yuri, waiting for him to order first. "Umm... I will take Iced Tea please." Jess quickly wrote it down and looked at me.

"I would also like an Iced Tea please." She nodded and walked off. "What are you getting, Yuri?"

He looked over the menu real fast, "I am thinking of getting the chicken on fried rice. What about you?" Yuri lifted his head up to make eye contact as he asked me the question.

I looked at the menu for the first time. It was full of yummy looking food. "Either the sweet and sour chicken or the shrimp cocktail. I haven't decided yet."

"You better decide fast because the lady is coming this way." He pointed over behind me. I turn around in my seat to see the waiter walking over with two drinks. She seats them down in front of us.

"Okay; are we ready to order or do you need more time?"

"You go first, Yuri." I looked over the menu again.

"I would like the chicken fried rice please."

Jess wrote his oder down and looked at me, "And what can I get for you?"

Giving one more glance at the menu before looking up to her I made my decision. "Can I get the shrimp cocktail and the sweet and sour chicken?"

"Certainly. Will that be all?"

"Yes." I handed her my menu and Yuri did the same.

"Really, Victor, you got both. That's so expensive!" He looked at me with wide eyes.

I gave him a smile, "It will not be too expensive because you ordered the cheapest thing."

His face flushed red, "You noticed that?" Yuri put his head down and examined his nails.

"Ah, Yuri, you are just too cute sometimes!" I clapped my hands together while smiling.

Before he could reply the waitress brought our food. "Chicken fried rice for you and shrimp cocktail plus sweet and sour chicken for you. Please enjoy!" She placed the food down and briskly walked away.

Yuri and I started to eat our dinner right away. He finished before me and I offered him some of my shrimp. At first Yuri was hesitant but he soon began to eat more of it than me. Once all the food was done, I payed and we walked to the beach hand in hand.

"This has been great, Victor." He leaned his head on my shoulder. I moved to where we were standing face to face.

"Yuri, I want to ask you something important." He looked at me confused but did not say anything. I got down on my knee and I heard him gasp. "Ever since I have known you you brought light into my dark life. You give me love and happiness,  even though I do not deserve it.  Yuri Katsuki, will you please marry me. I want you to be mine and only mine for the rest of your life." I held up a ring to him. It looked much like our gold promise rings except they were both engraved.  Mine had I will protect you amd his had Forever and ever.

"Yes! I love you Victor!" He put the ring on and I jumped up at him, wrapping him in a tight hug.

"Thank you, Yuri! You make me so happy!
