SHORT SUMMARY. in which the goofball teddy bear cullen falls for the closed of skittish nomad.
PLOT. for seventy two years nadia has been alone. she's stayed in the mountains of canada, petrified of what she was, and what she could do. for seventy two years she hadn't spoken to another human being, much less had anyone speak to her. so when the bear like vampire and his family cross her path, it's natural that the first thing nadia does is run away.
if it were anyone else, the cullens would have let her be, but it wasn't. the first second emmett caught her scent he knew who she was, and he wasn't planning on letting her get away from him.
EXTRAS. nadia was turned 72 years ago by a vampire who thought he killed her while she was on a camping trip. nadia can't remember anything except her name. she terrified of what she can do, so she stays in the mountains and eats animals to survive. - she first meets emmett after the cullens leave forks in new moon. he has been waiting for his mate for years and doesn't understand why she's running from him. - nadia is easily frightened and doesn't understand much of the human world, nor the vampire world. she's incredibly skittish and flees at the slightest movements or noises. obviously this is a super slow burn but it should contain lots of cute moments between emmett and Nadia where he is super gentle with her, and teaches her about the human world and everything.
