LOVE INTEREST. Alice Cullen
FACECLAIM. Maisie Williams as Marylin EversSHORT SUMMARY.
It was a firm, unwelcomed hand to her shoulder that gave her more than she had been prepared for.
PLOT.
From the moment Marilyn was born she had an odd little birthmark on her shoulder - on the left, a little towards the back as though someone had grabbed her by force and bruised her. It wasn't until she was old enough to understand why it bothered her parents with its presence did she come to the conclusion to never allow anyone to touch her.
And so it went like this; Marilyn is turned at the young age of sixteen, a bright-eyed girl shadowed by the handprint on her shoulder. As she went, she refused any sort of contact simply dor the principle of it - until her gentle request for distance became harsh words and bared teeth if anyone dared get too close.
Still, Marylin stuck with her small little nomadic coven, James finding her a pleasant little thing he enjoyed to keep close by like some sort of treasure. She had managed to go an entire 147 years, human life and not, without contact from another being.
A knowing touch, gentle and precise to the mark on her shoulder by some tiny little pixie character of a girl shattered her view of the world.
EXTRAS.
- Written fresh off a night shift so feel free to change all the sucky parts.
- Alice had seen Marylin coming long before she had seen the nomads and has seen her in reoccurring visions. She touches the handprint on Marylin's shoulder on purpose because she knows it's there and knows what will happen afterwards.
- The mark can be viewed as a soul mark that only Marylin, which plays into her gift and part of her subconscious will to not touch anyone.
- Marylin has a power. It is something that she will need to learn before she can ever touch another person. So basically, she is able to rip away pieces of a person's soul (or like mind in Edward's pov because he doesn't believe he has a soul?) And like royally mess a person up to the point that they either go crazy or catatonic. Alice is the only exception to this because they're meant to be mates? Like it's just something that is clear to the both of them through their powers? (Does this make sense?)
- At first, she should be very hostile towards the Cullen's because she's not used to the kindness of their more open and relaxed touchy atmosphere. Over time she just becomes a bit skittish and won't outright attack anyone if they get too close (and will eventually allow herself to be touched though always after giving permission.)
