SHORT SUMMARY.
She just wanted to meet her dad. The mystery man missing from every photo album, the one with his face cut out or scratched over.
Sherry just wanted to find that part of her that was undeniably part of her no matter how much her mother claimed him to be irrelevant.
And maybe he was irrelevant if she could hardly focus for more than a few seconds on what she set out to do with that persistent smile that kept crowding her thought.
Really, Embry Call was going to ruin everything.
PLOT.
Sherry Matthews was raised by her mother in the freezing north of British Columbia, far away from wherever her biological father could ever find them.
All her life she wants nothing more than to meet the man that had spent what her mother admits to being the 'best summer of her life' when she's stuck in a nostalgic stupor. It isn't until she turns 16, her mother has passed away from liver failure and having emancipated herself to keep out of foster homes, that Sherry begins the arduous journey of gaining a dual citizenship, searching for her real father, and falling in love for the first time.
Of course, vampires and werewolves are really only an added bonus.
EXTRAS.
- Sherry Matthews is the daughter of either Sam's dad or Paul's dad - if you want to make her related to the pack. If not then I imagine her to be a fitting sibling for maybe Angela or Mike. Though, if she ever meets her father and how she comes to terms with that is up to you.
- She is a very determined and a bit of a wild spirit. She is also unnecessarily dramatic - very much like her mother in that sense. Sherry is also a very touchy person, enjoying having almost constant contact with others. Her intentions are always pure, even if sometimes she has trouble distinguishing the right thing to do. She is easily flustered but doesn't really get overwhelmed unless for a good reason.
- Sherry was a fear of fish. Something caused by falling into a pond as a little girl and having them nibble at her toes.
- I imagine Sherry being an 'all or nothing' type of person in relationships and not being very good at dealing with secrets.
