PLOT. witches don't get involved in vampire business. that was one of the many unspoken rules their kind had. when a familiar face comes into new orleans begging for help, lucile cant help but say yes.
all she wanted to do was help out an old friend, not get imprinted on by a shapeshifter with anger issues.
EXTRAS. basically when bella gets pregnant carlisle, who saved luciles life as a child, comes to her asking for help. lucile knows she owes him a favor, so she agrees to come back to forks with him.
- she stays to help bella in any way she can during her pregnancy and when the wolves attack, she uses her voodoo magic to stop them. paul imprints on her, and lucile is pissed. she knows that paul would never leave the reservation, and can't be far from his imprint so she is now forced to stay in forks.
