SHORT SUMMARY.
It was very simple, really, when you get to the heart of things. Avery Jones was a collector of fine women and men like one would collect fine wine.
She loved the touch and to be touched, loved the way they stayed with her until they were both satisfied before she waved them goodbye with a charming smile and a promise to stay friends.
Avery was content with nothing more than meaningless sex, with nothing more than etching the names in a little red book she keeps hidden under her mattress.
Jasper apparently was not of the same opinion.
PLOT.
Avery Jones was open and willing in her sexuality, not caring what was said about her or the whispers that followed close behind. She was happy with her life, with the way people let her collect them with a sweet invitation to bed (or any interesting place), with the way she knew never to really expect anything more than sex.
She was fine with that, not really having wanted anything more before, but then she saw Jasper with his perfect golden hair and mesmerizing eyes - it was inevitable that she would want him to be the prize of her collection.
Jasper, for his part, just doesn't want to give in to her the way she wants.
Feelings always make things so complicated.
EXTRAS.
- This story is meant to tackle slut-shaming and the exploration of sexuality. Avery is very open about herself and a very sexual person but never would she call herself promiscuous or slutty. The only thing she finds odd about herself is the way she has trouble having romantic feelings towards people and how she has a red book that acts as a diary full of her sexual adventures.
- Jasper is very uncomfortable around her in the beginning but is intrigued nonetheless by the emotions she does and doesn't have. He ends up having feelings for her and pursues a relationship with her with Alice's encouragement.
- Avery is very firm in her beliefs and would never go near a person in a relationship and is the kind of person to snitch if she knows about any cheating going on.
- The relationship between Jasper and Avery is messy and awkward until they figure out how to fit together properly.
- I think it would take place maybe during New Moon when the Cullen's relocate or during Twilight when Avery tries to snatch up Bella but Jasper makes a subtle move to catch her attention.
