SHORT SUMMARY.
Verona Italy gave birth to a tragedy that shook and rocked the city for years to come - for the tale of Romeo and his Juliet was something that no one was ready to forget.
He never much cared for it, not after watching his sweet love die at her own hand and finding himself unable to follow.
For what was Romeo without his Juliet?
For what was Romeo when his heart loved another?
PLOT.
Italy, 1300's, the feud between the great Montague and Capulet houses was at its peak - and the young hearted Romeo and his determined Juliet found love that was like no other. You would be hard pressed to believe they weren't soulmates because they were truly meant for one another.
All Romeo had really, truly, known was that their families hated one another and that he would have done anything to stay at her side. So they tried to run, Juliet dies, Romeo tries to follow and is turned against his will for all his troubles.
It should have ended there. It should have ended with him sporting a broken heart for the rest of his days, but the odd little human couldn't seem to let him - not when he would recognize his soulmate anywhere.
EXTRAS.
- so basically everything is canon? I guess for the Romeo and Juliet bits but instead of dying, Romeo becomes a vampire. I imagine him to be a bit of a brooding loner that is either a friend of the Cullen's or part of the Volturi (it's up to you but I imagine it takes places during Eclipse)
-him having a power is completely up to you, but if he did have one it would have to be something with recognizing souls or something similar to Marcus.
-for clarification purposes, Bella is the reincarnation/rebirth of Juliet, but whether they have a happy ending is up to you because you will need to deal with the Edward obstacle
