Prompt: "Are you cold?"
Alexander eyed John as they walked through the bustling city, their feet collided with the concrete of the sidewalk, the loud sound of the cars and people talking filling their ears as they made their way through the town.
They were on a date, and John had insisted on walking to the coffee shop, figuring it would be fun. Though from what Alexander could see, from John's shivering frame and chattering teeth, he was freezing, probably regretting not just taking a cab to their desired destination.
"Are you cold?" Alex asked, glancing at John, who scoffed, shaking his head. "Johnny, I can tell you're freezing."
"Lex, I'm fine," John said nonchalantly, shrugging. "Seriously, it's not even that cold out here." Alexander chuckled as a gust of icy wind hit them, John shaking, his arms wrapped around himself. Alex pulled off his hoodie, handing it to John. "I said I'm fine-"
"And I'm saying take the damn sweatshirt, John," Alexander said with a smug smirk as John shivered once more, quickly taking the hoodie, throwing it over his head. John sighed at the warmth, smiling. "Better?" John gave Alex a shy glance, nodding. "See baby? I'm always right," Alexander nudged John with his elbow, chuckling. John rolled his eyes, though he laughed along with Alex.
"Shut up," John pulled the sleeves up so that his hands were uncovered. Alexander always bought his sweatshirts about three sizes bigger than necessary, so they fit like a tent on John. Not that he minded. "I would have been fine without this y'know." Alex snaked his arm around John's waist, planting a kiss on his boyfriend's freckled cheek.
"Yeah right."
