The first part is all made up, it's all mine, all of the other scenes are from the movie. If you have watched the movie, then you will know that I added a lot more to it. My parts are completely different, I switched around some scenes, and some characters. Thank you for reading, and without further ado, here's the chapter. I hope you enjoy it!

After I dropped Fury off at base, I decided to go home, and try to get some sleep. After all, it was only 4 A.M. And I'm pretty sure my father won't be up this early. I finally pulled into the parking lot of mine and Phil's apartment. I went to my room, changed my clothes, I turned off the light and crawled into bed. Once my head hit the pillow, I was out.

~ Early morning~

I woke up to the sunlight streaming through my bedroom window. I look over at my clock and let out a sigh. '7:55'. I got out of my bed, went straight to the coffee maker, and made myself a hot cup of coffee. My phone started to ring, the caller I.D. said ' Uncle Phil', and I answered.

" Good morning, Uncle Phil." I say.

"Good morning, Charlie. One of my agents dropped a file off at the apartment last night. It should be on the counter." he says.

I look around the counter, "Yeah, I found it." I pick it up, and began to look through it.

"That's the folder you need to give to your father." he says with a sigh.

"Do I have to get dressed 'professionally'', cause after all, it is my dad." I say.

He sighs, I know he's rolling his eyes. " Yes, Charlie. You're an agent now, you have to play the part. You can't show up in sweat pants and a hoodie, even though it's your father---." He continues to go on about how I need to dress like a professional agent, and that I can't show up looking like a hobo. I have been doing this for little over a year now, and some days I just need a lazy day. But being an agent always on call, you won't get a lazy day. I look at my watch to check the time, and its already 8:30, all I can think is: has he really been ranting for thirty minutes

" Well, Uncle Phil, I better get going. Because not only do I have to go talk to my father, I have to go with Fury to talk to Steve Rogers." I say with a sigh.

" Steve Rogers?! As in Captain America?!" my uncle practically screams into the phone.

"Yes, Phil. Now don't go all fan girl on me." I say with a laugh.

"Can you get my vintage Captain America trading cards signed?!"

"Uh don't you carry those with you?" I ask, because I know he carries them everywhere.

"Aw Crap!"

I laugh, "Uncle Phil, listen, if I get him to agree to come with us, you can ask him." He sits there in silence for a few seconds.

"Okay, I better get off here, because I still have to call Romanoff."

"Okay, bye."

I hang up the phone, and rush to my bathroom to brush my teeth. After I finish, I go to my closet to pick an outfit, that's not only professional, but I look good in it. (Outfit is pictured below.)👇

After I am dressed, I curl my long, brown hair, and put on a little bit of makeup

After I am dressed, I curl my long, brown hair, and put on a little bit of makeup. To finish the 'professional' look off, I put on red lipstick. I grab my car keys off of the counter, and walked out the door to head to Stark Tower. After I got into my car, I can't help but to think: Will my father agree to come and help us with this whole Tesseract thing? Will Steve? Will Steve remember  me?  As all of these thoughts go through my mind, I finally arrived at Stark Tower.

~ At Stark Tower~

I pull in, not remembering the last time I've been here, because I've been so occupied with work. I get into the elevator and JARVIS greets me, "Ms. Stark, where to?"

"Whatever floor my father is on." my dad programed my name as 'Charlotte Stark' into the system, because he thought it was time for me to change my last name to Stark, but I never did. I love my dad, but I felt like I needed to keep my mother's last name, because I still wanted some part of her. Finally the elevator door opened, and I walked in on Pepper and my dad talking. They both smile, "Charlie! Come in hun!" Pepper greeted me.

"How are you guys?" I ask them.

"We're good! And how are you? Look at you! All grown up and beautiful!" Pepper looks at me and smiles.

"Yeah she inherited the Stark genes .It's good to see ya kid. " my dad says with a chuckle.

"Sorry I haven't been by, trust me I want to, it's just work has been so hectic lately." I walk over to them both and give them a long, tight hug. Man do I miss seeing my dad. We're both always so busy, and that enable us to spend time together. I step back and Pepper tells me, "You shouldn't be working so hard, you're only 19, and you should be out having fun."

" I know, it's just I've always wanted to be an agent, and now I am. I know I can't always have time off, but I love what I do." I say.

My dad smiles, "She's a Stark, Pepper. We work hard for what we want." he says, and I smile at him.

"Well, we're celebrating, so maybe you can join us." Pepper says.

"No, sorry, I would, but I can't stay very long. Oh! before I forget here's this, I need you to look this over as soon as possible." I try to hand my father the file, but he wouldn't take it.

"You know, I don't like things being handed to me." he says. Of course he says that. My dad and I are two of the most stubborn people in the world. "Dad. Take. It." I say. He shakes his head 'No'.

Pepper speaks up, "That's fine because, I like to be handed things." she grins at me, "So, let's trade." She hands me her glass of champagne, she turns around and takes my father glass, then hands him the folder. I sit my glass on the table because I can't drink it. My farther looks up in defeat and tells me when consulting hours are, I tell him, "Dad, this is not up for consultation."

Pepper looks at me and asks, "Is this about the Avengers?" I look at my father with an eyebrow raised, "That I know nothing about." My dad turns around and looks at me, "I thought I didn't make the cut? Apparently I'm volatile, self obsessed, and don't play well with others." Pepper looks at me and says, "That, I did know."

"Dad, this isn't about personal profiles anymore." I say and look at him, and he looks at Pepper, and asked her for a moment. She walks over to him, and I stand there awkwardly. As they were talking, I started to realize how happy she made him. I'm glad that my father found someone, but I wondered if he ever felt like that about my mom, or if it was nothing more than just a one night thing. I look over that way and he pulls up all of the files on his screen. They continue to talk and then she pulls him close while whispering something in his ear. He has a sly grin on his face, and I look down not knowing what to do. It was completely awkward. She begins to ask if I can drop her off at where she needs to be, and I tell her I can take her. I walk over to my dad and give him hug, "Don't be a stranger, love you kid." That was a nickname he has called me when he met me for the first time. "I won't, and I love you too, dad." I walk into the elevator with Pepper, and the door closes behind us. And now it's time to meet Fury and talk to Steve. Boy am I nervous.
