~Recap~ "Listen to me. Stay where you are. I'm coming to find you." He says. After that I turn around and something hits me. I shoot my gun at the creature standing above me. And I see a little boy standing in a corner crying, with two more things coming from the opposite direction.
*Now*
Both of the creatures start walking over to him. I grab my gun and shoot both of them. I run over to him,"Are you okay?" I ask him, he nods his head. "What's your name sweetie?" I ask him. "Dylan. What's yours?" He asks. He looked like he was only 5 years old,
"My name is Charlie. I promise I will get you out of here,okay?"I tell him, I realise that I dropped my other gun on the ground over where the monster had me pinned to the ground. "Stay right here don't move." I tell him. I run over to where my gun is and pick it up, and I hear a hiss above me. I look up and see the creature looking at Dylan with its spear pointing at him.
I run towards Dylan and jump in front of him, I hear Dylan scream, and I fall to the ground. I look down and see blood coming from my stomach.

I look over and see a shield take out the creature. I look at Dylan and he's crying, "Charlie are you o-okay?" He asks me. I cough a little, "It's just a scratch bud." I tell him. But I know it's not a scratch. I put my hand on my wound, and a cop comes over to me, and I tell him,
"Get him out of here. Find his mother. Please." I say. The cop obeyed and ran out with him. Steve rushes over to me dropping his shield to the ground. "Charlie. Where are you injured at?!" Steve says panicking. I lift up my hand, I was shot in the stomach.
"Listen to me. Look at me. Eyes on me." He talks into the comm calling paramedics about my wound, and to get here fast. I look at him, "Steve, I-" but before I finish I cough up a little bit of blood. "Just stay with me okay? They will be here in a minute." He says. "I'll try Rogers." I start to cry a little, and I'm trying to take my mind off of the pain. "Talk to me about something, anything. Try to take my mind off of the pain." I say.
"Okay okay... Remember that time when we first met?" He asks, and I nod my head.
"Well, when you came with Fury to talk to me, I thought you were one of the prettiest things in the world." He says, and I stifle out a short giggle.
"And when you stayed at my apartment that one night, I couldn't believe that you agreed to stay." He says with a grin. I cough a lot harder this time, causing more blood to come up. My eyes begin to flutter, "Charlie! Charlie! Stay with me!" He says.
"It's-It's okay Steve." I say with tears rolling down my face, and it causes him to start to tear up.

"P-please stay with me.Because I-I love you." He says.
"You l-love me?" I ask him with a weak smile, knowing that it's almost time.
"Yes. I do. I love you. I never thought that I could love anyone, a-." Before he could finish I grab him by his neck and pull him down, and kiss him. It was long and sweet, until a cough ruined it.

"And I love you too, Steven Grant Rogers." I say with tears in my eyes.

My eyelids grew heavy, and they started to close slowly, and I can hear Steve, "Charlie! Stay with me!" He says, but it's an echo, like in the movies when their dying and they can hear their loved ones screaming 'don't go'. I close my eyes and start thinking, I don't want to leave Steve or my dad. My dad. My dad has lost so many people, and now he's losing me. I can't let this happen to him again, I have to fight back. I have to focus on my breathing, I open my eyes and everything is a blur, I manage to get out, "Steve, t-tell my dad I love him."
"Don't do this Charlie, stay with me." He says and it all sounds like echoes in my ears.
"I-I'm not going d-down without a fight." I spit out. But my eyes lids feel heavy, and they begin to close. Focus on breathing. Focus. I feel Steve pull me closer to him, and he's putting pressure on the wound. I continue to breath in and out slowly, and I hear voices, "Over here!" I hear someone yell, I feel my body being lifted off of the ground.
"Please help her!" I hear another voice.
"Charlie, I promise you will make it through this. I have to go now. I have to help the others. I love you." Steve says.
I whisper out a last "I love you" and my hearing goes silent. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Word Count: 926 Awe! Steve loves her! This was kinda hard to write a death scene from this point of view, and not to mention but really sad! Thank you for reading! Next chapter will be up tomorrow guys!
