Sorry about the delay you guys... I'll really try to be quicker with the next chapter, I promise. Lots of family time coming up, so I hope you're ready for that :) I still have a lot planned for these two, but for now enjoy this chapter, and as always don't be shy to share your opinion! :D Thanks for reading x

"Okay... So tell me again, who will be coming there?"
"Well, my parents will be there, my grandma, my aunt and uncle and my cousin, one of them and... Dave might drop by because he was busy last night, but we'll see. Otherwise he'll be coming by my place later, if you don't mind."
"Oh no, not at all. If you want to have some guy time then you can tell me, don't worry."
"We will see, maybe. You really wouldn't mind?" He asked and wrapped his arm around her.
"No, of course not. I mean, why should I?" She smiled at him and kissed his cheek. "You can always spend time with your friends."
"I don't want you to feel neglected or something though... and I do want to sleep next to you tonight."
"Sleep next to me, alright, sure," she chuckled and kissed his cheek again. "That can be arranged. I can just give Mary or Lynn a call, to see if maybe they want to go out for a drink or something, before I can come back to your place or you come to my place or whatever. We'll figure something out, I won't feel neglected, don't worry." She smiled at him and leaned against him.
"Okay, that sounds good. I appreciate that. Oh, we have to get off," he told her, pressing the stop button before he got off and led her downstairs. When the bus stopped, they got off, and Brian reached for her hand.
Ellie looked around curiously, a small smile on her face. "Do your parents live far from here?"
"No, not very far, just around the corner here and then the first street on the right basically. Like five minutes walking."
"It looks nice," she told him, still looking around. "I've never been to this corner of London before."
"It's not too bad. Freddie grew up not too far from here either actually."
"Really? Is that how you met? That's pretty nice." She smiled at him, crossing the road with him.
"Actually no. We had no clue that we live so near each other until Tim - you've met him - introduced us. And then we found out that basically he lived just down the street, it's pretty funny."
"That's true. So close and yet so far," she chuckled and squeezed his hand gently. "It's like you were destined to meet."
Brian laughed softly and nodded. "I guess you could say that. Alright, it's down this street." He led her off the main street into a quieter side street. It was a cul-de-sac road so there were no passing cars.
"It's quite nice."
"Yeah, it's not so bad." Brian smiled a little. "It's that house, at the end of the road, the one with the blue car parked in front of it."
"Mhm," She just mumbles, biting her lip a little, trying to calm her nerves that were slowly starting to make an appearance again.
Brian gently squeezed her hand. "Don't worry so much, okay? My parents are really curious about you."
"I'm actually not sure if that makes me feel better," Ellie admitted and sighed softly.
"You really don't have to be nervous. Or at least you really don't have to be scared. They know that I really like you, so they have a good opinion of you already. Don't worry, okay? I won't let them say anything bad about you. And my mum thinks you're a good person because you're Scottish."
