Ellie pressed the button for Brian's doorbell and more or less patiently waited for him to open the door. As normal as travelling to Brian's flat was, she still got incredibly excited when she was about to see him. It still made her heart race, and she could hardly wait to wrap her arms around him and kiss him softly. So when he could hear his voice inviting her in, she was glad to follow that invitation. It was even better when she could hear that voice in person, greeting her almost impatiently.

"Hello, my dear.."

When Ellie's eyes fell on him, she smiled widely at him and sped up her steps a little more. "Hey... I missed you," she told him, before she even reached him.

"I missed you too," he replied, looking at her with a big smile. "You look beautiful."

"Thank you.." She finally reached him and immediately wrapped her arms around him. "You look wonderful yourself.. I really missed you."

Brian hugged her back tightly and kissed the top of her head. "Thank you, my dear.. Do you want to come in? We can have a cup of tea before we leave, if you want."

"Tea sounds really good actually, yeah. I like that." They went inside his flat and Brian closed the door, but before he could go ahead into the kitchen, Ellie stopped him. "Aren't you forgetting something?" She asked him, a smirk on her face.

Brian chuckled and pulled her close again. "You're right... how could I forget?" With a smile on his face, he leaned in and kissed her very softly, tenderly. In a way that always, still, made Ellie's knees slightly weak. He was simply a wonderful kisser.

When he pulled away, Ellie took a deep breath and smiled at him. "I don't know how you could forget that, really."

"It won't happen again, don't worry," he told her and pecked her lips again.

"Good, good, that's what I like to hear. Hey, I have to look for something, but I'll be fine, you can make the tea already."

Brian nodded, letting go of her. "Okay, go ahead. I'll bring the tea into the living room." With another smile, he disappeared into the kitchen.

Ellie, on the other hand went into the living room. First of all, to hide his present under the pile of her clothes, and then, to check if her dress really was there. Which, luckily, it was. And that meant she could get started on the next task on her list. Something that was very much overdue, but something that still made her nervous. But she had to - she wanted to do this.

"Did you find what you were looking for?"

"Yeah," she told Brian and nodded. "It was just a dress that I didn't know if I had left it here. But it's here, so it's all good. I want to wear that tomorrow." She smiled and went over to his couch where he was already, waiting for her with two cups of tea.

"That's good." He smiled and waited for her to sit down before he sat next to her. "Are we coming back here tonight?"

"What makes you think I'm going home with you tonight?" She asked him teasingly and smirked at him.

Brian chuckled. "Careful what you say there, my lady. I have my sources, you know?"

Ellie smiled widely at him and kissed his cheek. "Well, your sources are right. We can come here, I brought everything I need because I thought you'd probably like to drop of your stuff here after the concert."

"I think I'll leave my things at Imperial for the night and go pick up my guitar tomorrow..."

"Sure, whatever you want to do, I'm fine with that." She smiled at him and picked up one of the cups. Brian started going on about something, but Ellie didn't really listen. There was something that was on her mind, but she wanted to find a somewhat smooth transition to that topic. Even though that was nearly impossible. So she just decided to interrupt Brian in whatever he was saying. "Hey, Brian..." When she had his attention she took a deep breath. "Uhm.. We need to talk... kinda. I mean.. I would like to talk to you about something.."
