"Oh... uhm, probably around five? We can check in the calendar at hom for the exact time but five-ish should be right. Why?"
Brian shrugged and turned his head to look at her. "If you're up for that we could come here to watch the sunrise. I'm sure that makes a great picture too."
"Aye, it does, but usually if I did that I came here during winter to take photos of the sunrise, it's at a more normal time, a bit to nine...," Ellie pointed out.
"Fair enough, but it's not winter now... do you think we could still do that?"
Ellie nodded a little. "Sure, yes, if you want to do that we can definitely do that. We can see which of these days there will be little or no clouds in the morning, we can listen to the forecast tonight."
"That sounds like a good plan."
"You know, you're a little crazy but I guess that's one of the reasons I like you so much."
Brian chuckled a little and kissed Ellie's cheek softly. "Well thank you. I'm glad you appreciate that side of me." Again there was a short moment of silence before Brian spoke up. "So... you said before that you and your brother go to that pub to watch games... what do you watch? I didn't know you were into sports."
"Putting it like that may be exaggerating a little. I'm not really into sports, but it's fun to watch games at the pub, especially because Henry is really into football and rugby. If there's a sport that I could be considered into, it would have to be motoring probably, like... Formula 1. Or show jumping. What I also enjoy watching is rowing for some reason, I really like that. But Formula 1 is the only thing they'd show at a pub."
"You enjoy motorsports? Oh dear, I can't let Roger find out about that or he'll take up all your time."
"He would?" Ellie asked amused. "That could be fun. Oh, maybe we could give him like a day at a cart track for his birthday. A bit belatedly, but hey. I could race him."
Brian raised his eyebrows. "You? Race him? Oh dear, I don't think that's a good idea."
"What, you don't think I could handle it? We could give him a day at a show jumping track if you prefer that, but I doubt he'd enjoy that. I don't really want to do that to any horse either."
Brian chuckled and shook his head. "That would certainly be fun to watch, but I think you're right. He wouldn't enjoy that and I'm sure no horse would enjoy that either. We'll see. Maybe we can do the cart track. He certainly would enjoy that. But you have to promise me that you'll be extra careful, okay? I don't want you to risk anything."
"I'll be careful, I can handle that, you know? I do enjoy driving, and if possible I like to drive fast."
"Mh, yes, I did notice that on the way back from Truro yesterday. But the idea of you possibly kicking Rog's butt is tempting. We'll see what we can do." Brian smiled at Ellie, his wonderful sweet smile that still made her stomach flutter so wonderfully, before he leaned in to give her a soft kiss.
"Good, I can get on board with that plan," she said softly, meeting his eyes when they pulled away. The smile on her face told anyone that she couldn't have been happier. "Do you want to start going back? We could take a small detour and I could show you the pub and town centre quickly," Ellie suggested.
"That sounds like a good plan to me," Brian agreed and got up, wiping the sand off himself before he held his hand out for Ellie and pulled her up too. "Which way?" He asked, watching Ellie wipe the dirt off her legs.
"It's up to you, we can either walk along the beach, until there," she told him, pointing ahead of them. "Or we can walk back along the street the entire time."
