Hidden Hospital

Chapter 6

     Tyler and I went to that field every night since then. Both Kaleb and Baylie noticed we were gone every night. Baylie was happy for me, but Kaleb wasn't too sure about this whole thing.
     "Where have you been each night?" Baylie started yelling at me. I told her what happened and a wide smile spread across her face. "I knew he'd do that sooner or later." I told her to shut up about it.
     Kaleb started to yell at Tyler, "What are you doing?" Tyler couldn't look at Kaleb as he answered, "I'm sorry. I really like her. I don't think I can go a day without her." Kaleb started to get furious, "This is detracting you from your job. It's either Savanna or the job." Tyler went to Savanna to tell her his problem.
     "What?" I questioned. "Why would he make you do that?" "Apparently you're detracting me from my job," he answered in a sad tone. Tears started running down my face. I was afraid he was gonna pick the job. "Can you keep a secret?" He asked. I nodded my head and promised I wouldn't tell. He whispered in my ear, "I can tell him I choose the job, but can we keep our relationship secret?" It killed me to keep it a secret, but I still wanted to be with him, so I agreed.
     Tyler told Kaleb he'd take the job while it killed me to lie to Baylie to say we broke up. Every time Tyler would walk into the room, tears would run down our faces knowing we have to keep all of this secret.
