The following day, Kaleb had tried to kill Baylie's grandmother once again.
As we were talking to her, she started choking once again and went numb. Once she stopped I waited until someone came through the door. This time it was Kaleb. I screamed once again and shot him in the shoulder as well. I stood over him and screamed, "I thought you weren't going to pull this again." That's when Tyler came running in with the shot. I glared at Kaleb and helped him up and get the bullet out of his shoulder.
"Why did you pull that again?" I asked. He could tell I wasn't in a good mood. "To get you and your little gang out of here," he replied. Tyler and I both asked why. He gave us both an irritated look. "I got tired of Tyler running away with you every night," he explained, "He wasn't slacking on his job, but I was afraid that it would later on, so I told him either you or the job." I got very irritated and stopped trying to get the bullet out of his shoulder. Before I could say word, he said, "You two can get back together if you want." Tyler and I gave each other a smile as I finished getting to bullet out of Kaleb's shoulder.
Once I told Baylie the good news, she screamed with joy. "Okay, calm down Baylie," I tried to say as she kept shutting me up. "Are you going to keep on going on dates?" She asked with a wide smile on her face. I glared at her and told her to shut up.
"Are you going to take her on more dates now?" Kaleb asked Tyler. He shrugged his shoulders and answered, "I don't know. Probably." Kaleb gave him a faint smile and said, "I'll be nice and give you the day off tomorrow." Tyler smiled and went back to work.
