Now that Baylie's grandmother is all healed, there came the hard part of all this.
As Baylie and her grandmother were getting ready to go home, I was spending on last moment with Tyler. "I don't want you to go," he said to me, hugging me tight. I could feel his tears drop on me. I started to cry as well. We kissed good bye and I started heading back. I kept looking back at him, trying to accept the fact that I'm leaving my best friend, my love, my life behind.
Once I got home, I ran to my room and cried as hard as I could. I slipped my phone number into one of his pockets, but I doubted he'd realize it was there.
A couple hours after I got home, someone called me. I looked at the number, I didn't recognize it, but I answered it, hoping it was Tyler, and it was. We talked for a couple hours. He interrupted one of our conversations to tell me to look out my window. I didn't understand why he told me to do that, but I looked anyways. It was him standing outside.
I ran to him and hugged him tight and didn't let go. "I can't believe you found me!" I was crying for joy this time. "I followed the tracks from your four wheeler," he said. I shook my head.
While we were talking, before I could ask him he said, "just to let you know, I quit my job just to be with you." Tears started running down my face knowing he did all of that just for me. Nothing will ever split us apart.
