The next morning I started the day by working on one of the old bike in my room that I fix up. After lunch and after the bot's patrols, I left my room to find Arcee before she left for Jasper.

"Arcee! Wait up, I'm coming with you!" I told her as she was getting ready to transform.

"Why me? Wouldn't you rather go with Bee?" She asked.

"The younger boy seems to like Bee enough already. Tho older boy might need a more human face to persuade him." I told her. She said nothing but nodded in response. She transformed and we sped out of the base, headed toward the small town of Jasper.

We parked right in front of the old brick school building, waiting for the older boy to walk out. I took off my helmet and held it in between my arms as I leaned against Arcee. looked behind us to see Bee was waiting about a block away.

"Hey, Arcee, We have a while yet until they're going to come out, and I skipped lunch. I'm gonna walk to the KO Burger, I'll be back soon." I tell her and earn a flash from her headlights back in return.

"Just be careful, you have your gear, right?" She asked quite quietly.

"I have my handheld, that should be plenty." I tell her and eternally roll my eyes. Her engine rolls as if to scold me, but I ignore it and start walking the few blocks to the KO Burger.

It seems pretty empty as I walk in, which is pretty understandable given that it's three in the afternoon. I order just a simple burger and fries and eat quickly, just incase the boys get out of school earlier than I had anticipated.

I walk back to the bike to see some students had already walked outside, but I didn't yet see the older boy we were looking for. I saw a girl with pigtails and pink tips sitting on the brick stairs and staring at Arcee, I narrow my eyes in suspicion but quickly release it as I realize she's simply drawing Arcee.

I put my helmet on and walk closer to Arcee, who obviously can't speak to me but instead flashes the Autobot insignia on her gas tank. I climb into Arcee's seat and grab the handlebars as she spins out of the parking spot and takes off down the road.

"What'd I miss?" I ask her.

"Bee took the younger kid shortly after you left, but the older kid saw me and took off around the corner." I nodded and looked around, catching the glimpse of a backpack heading into an alley.

"There!" I said and Arcee drove down the same alley to see the teenage boy we were looking for.

"Kid, we just want to talk to you." Arcee said and cut him off from walking away any further.

"Don't you mean you and your new friend?" He asked as I got off of Arcee and took my helmet off so he could see my face.

"Kid, there's a lot you don't understand."

"I'm not a kid!" He said with attitude. "And my name's Jack." I rolled my eyes at him.

"Well then, Jack. Give us a minute to explain."

"No, no, I get it. First rule of robot fight club is you don't talk about robot fight club." Jack stated and turned around to walk away. Arcee transformed into her her Cybertronian form.

"What you need to understand is I don't want a bunch of crazy talking vehicles following me around and trying to get me killed!"

"I'm really sorry about what happened to you yesterday, Jack. Truly, it was never our intention to put any human lives in danger." I began.

"And your personal safety is exactly why Optimus Prime has accepted your presence." Arcee added. Jack looked confused for a minute before Arcee continued. "Your life is in danger because you are one of the few, one of the only who have ever seen us."
