The bots go through the groundbridge and I turn my back, walking silently to my workstation. I start tinkering with my new arm and legs, figuring out how they work so I can do my own advancements and repairs when needed. Miko turned the radio up so we could all hear the catastrophes that were happening world wide. After a few minutes, both the radio and the television went dark.

"So," June said. "Who wants to play a game?"

"That tears it!" Fowler yelled.

"Where are you going?" June asks.

"I can't just sit on my hands while the world spins out of control!"

"And what exactly are you planning to do?" Ratchet asked him sarcastically.

"Anything! Hook up with my boys at the Pentagon, figure out a way to bury this monster for good!"

"In the event that Optimus can't?" Ratchet challenged.

"Don't you mean Optimus and Megatron?" Fowler challenged back.

"Agent Fowler, no one here is thrilled about this arrangement- myself included. But, with Optimus and Megatron together again-"

"Woah, wait! Again?" Jack interjected.

"Megatron was an autobot?" Raph asked.

"Optimus was a con?" Miko asked, just as confused.

"No, on either account." Ratchet answered. "But, there was a time, back on Cybertron in the twilight nhours of the golden age, when Optimus and Megatron were not sworn enemies."

"They were compatriots, good friends." I added, without looking up from my arm that I had opened up, as strange as that sounds.

"And how exactly would you know this?" Ratchet asked.

"I've lived with only six beings all my life, I know almost everything there is to know about all of you, including Optimus. He tells me things just as you do." I answered with an unusual amount of sass.

"Well then, by all means, you can go ahead and tell the story." He answered with the same amount of attitude. I sighed but looked towards everyone else anyway.

"You remember hoe Ratchet told you Optimus wasn't always a Prime? Before he was a Prime, he was a clerk at the Iacon Hall of Records- basically St. Catherines Monastery in Cybertronian. His name was Orion Pax, and during his extensive research he grew increasingly concerned of corruption in high places, as well as inequalities among the masses. He grew inspired by the words of a gladiator, who had named himself after one of the original 13 Primes, Megatronous.

"Megatronous vowed to challenge the leadership that was so corrupt, and demanded for equality among all Cybertronians. He grew revolutionary quickly, and gained a rapid following, Soundwave leading the pack. Orion began corresponding with Megatronous, and he became something like a mentor to him. When Megatronous left the gladitorial arena for the political, he decided to shorten his name to the one we know all too well. He eventually appeared in front of the high council and was able to share his views of a just society. But, it was here that he began to show his true colors. He concluded the only way to achieve equality was to overthrow the old guard with force, and he arrogantly demanded to be named the next Prime.

"Orion, however, did not believe in using violence to achieve justice, and the council was moved by his words. They saw, for the first time since the Golden Age, someone worthy of being a Prime. But, that wasn't something for the council to decide. In spite, Megatron severed all ties with the high council and Orion, and he began to wage war on anyone who wasn't on his side. This is how the war started. He named his followers Decepticons and vowed he would take the Matrix of Leadership for himself, wherever it may be. As you know, the war eventually poisoned the planet down to it's very core. Unlike our core, Cybertron's core could be reached by anyone, so Orion took it upon himself to see if he could reverse the effects of war. Instead he found himself before the life-giver of all Cybertronians, Primus- they're God if you will. The dying core decided that Orion was worth and bestowed the Matrix upon him. This is how a humbled and surprised Orion Pax came to be the Optimus we know today, the last of the Primes."
