"So I guess we're partners now." A Scottish voice came up behind Clara that made her jump a bit.

"Oh–ah... yes." Clara nods. "Though I don't really do partners."

"My name's Amy." She introduced.

"Don't tell me your real name, we have code names for a reason." Clara told her like a mother telling off her child.

"We're supposed to have code names?" Amy muttered under her breath.

"I can't believe I have to work with someone like you." Clara said with a tired expression as she rubbed her eyes.

"Well I'm reading the paper-report-thing and I have to ask; what exactly does anti-gravity suit imply?" She asked.

"Did you even go to the training academy?" Clara asked as she snatches the file from Amy and begins to read it over.

"Um...yeah! Yes, of course." Amy told her as she watched Clara.

"Listen, if you could just leave this to me, I'll get it done better alone." Clara told her as she headed for the gravity lift, a small disc that allowed operatives to ascend and descend around the facility.

"But the director said that we were to do it together." Amy protested.

"And I'm telling you, as a fellow agent, that I can get this done on my own." Clara said as she entered the gravity lift, which was really only meant for one person, but Amy quickly got on with her.

"I won't hold you back, promise." She told Clara as she was mentally face palming.

"No offense, Agent Pond, but I really think you would."

"Look, I know you were like some super amazing time agent or something but the director said that we have to do it together."

As Clara was reading over the mission details she suddenly knew that she couldn't do it on her own. This mission required heavy stealth and break in. Something that Clara had never gotten the hang of completely. She was much better hacking into enemy territories or infiltration. If she did this one her own, even if it was a ridiculously easy assignment, there wasn't guarantee that she would get out unscathed. And she needed this to be perfect to prove to the entire agency that she is better than this.

"And I'm just saying that I want to help, in any way I can." Amy said, then Clara met her eyes in the confined space they were in.

"Alright, Agent Pond, but I'm going to need you to report to transport early tomorrow morning. I will retrieve our tools from the armory. You can just..." Clara looked at Amy for a moment, wondering what to say, "...do whatever you do."

"Thanks." Amy smiled and the gravity lift bought them to floor 265, "I'm on this floor too."

Floor 265 was a residential floor for the agents that didn't live close to the base. All residential floors for basic agents were 263 to 300. Housing over 400 basic agents, most straight out of training, the residential floors had a bit of a hierarchy to them. The higher your floor number, the better you were. And the closer you were to becoming a top agent. The more qualified agents live on floors 440 to 470. That's where Clara was living before all of this. Those living spaces were luxurious to say the least. And they were all separate rooms, no sharing involved. To say that everyone wanted to be a top agent was an understatement.
