Snowy Heart. (Naruto FF)

"My name's Saruko."

   Previously:

   "Hang on a second, would ya!?" He yelled at her, watching as she turned her head back at him. Her face was blank but her eyes screamed danger, causing him to let her go and shrink back slightly. "Um, why don't you come back with me and have some supper? You can meet my team!"

   'His team? Is he a ninja from here? No, his headband says he's from the Hidden Leaf Village. Wait a second...is he from that team that fought Papa? I have to get more information.' Saruko's face pulled up into a grin, her guard on high alert.

   "I'd love to."

   "Awesome! Let's go, then!!" Naruto waved the redhead along, who joyfully abided. Thus, the two began to have a good-hearted race between them. Saruko, of course, let Naruto beat her and pretended to be winded afterwards.

   Naruto soon reached the back of the house with Saruko close behind him. "Ha!! I win! I win!"

   "Naruto, what on earth are you yelling abou-oh, it's a girl." A pink haired bottle of anger burst through the back door, prepared to yell at the blond until her eyes caught sight of Saruko's figure.

   'Damn, she's really cute too. She better watch herself around my Sasuke, though.' Sakura smiled at the redhead, offering a hand. "Hi there! My name is Sakura, Sakura Haruno. It's very nice to meet you."

   "My name's Saruko. It's nice to meet you as well." She shook the other girl's hand, carefully monitoring her in the process. 'She doesn't like me. Not one bit.'

   "I invited her to dinner tonight, believe it!!" Naruto shared proudly in his normal loud tone. Irritated, Sakura immediately smacked the boy on the back of the head.

   "Naruto, quiet down! Kakashi-sensei is still resting!" Saruko sat back and watched as the two bickered with each other. As they did this, Saruko noticed a faint presence make themselves known, the trees parting to make way for a worn looking ravenet.

   "What are you two yelling about now?" He complained, running his fingers through his black hair as his eyes narrowed at the blue eyed young woman. "And who is this?"

   'Well, aren't you just a crabby bitch.' Saruko smiled as she turned towards him, not failing to notice the soft redness upon his cheeks. "I'm sorry, they're arguing because of me. Naruto invited me over for dinner with him and his team. Which I'm guessing are yourself and Sakura."

   "That would be correct. But just who are you, and why do you look like the dobe?" His voice was apathetic and cold, skepticism heavy in his tone. However, Saruko didn't give him an inch on her, keeping her guard on high alert. 'Out of the three, he's probably the most skilled as of now. I'll have to keep a closer eye on him.'

   "My name is Saruko, I'm an acquaintance of Naruto's. As for why we look so alike...well, I'm not sure myself." She admitted shamelessly. "Actually, I was maybe hoping your sensei could shine some light on the situation."

   "Well, what are we waiting for!? You can come inside, believe it!" Naruto announced, grabbing Saruko's hand and pulling her inside the small home. From where they entered, the group stepped into a moderate sized dining room.

   There were two people sitting at the table, one being an older drunken man, who was unconscious at the moment, while the other was a silver haired Jonin with most of his face covered. At the sound of the door, they both turned their heads towards the blond rampaging his way inside.

   Once the redhead managed to get inside as well, the onyx eyed Jonin stared in awe at her familiar face and hair. Like he had seen it once before. And then, it hit him all at once on who she looked like.
