'This looks like the place to me.' Saruko thought to herself, glancing up at the clan symbol on the wooden doors that cut off the clan from the rest of the village.
"I'm sure it is. Now go in and tear some people up already!" Yukiharu demanded of her, sending a short wave of pain through her skull. Tenderly cupping her head, Saruko groaned and pushed open the entrance.
"Yeah yeah, I got ya." She muttered under her breath, careful not to make any noise while shutting the door back. Lining the main pathway were several small houses that led up to a grander, larger manor.
Saruko brought her hands up, performing hand signs before mouthing the jutsu name. "Ice Style: Frozen Wind Blades."
With that, the water that was in the night air collected itself into many thin, powerful curved blades of ice. Under her command, these blades fanned out and sliced several of the houses, and even more sleeping people, into pieces. The entire clan woke in alarm to see that their home was being attacked in the dead of night.
Saruko stood, watching as the men of each house rushed out in the night clothes, some with short swords and other weapons in their hands, before reaching to grab Kubikiribocho. With her in Saruko's hands, her distinct blue eyes flashed a fiery gold before she charged at the closest one.
She easily sliced a man to ribbons with Zabuza's sword, bouncing off his corpse to attack the next three at once, all easily cut down by the blade's sharpness. For a while, Saruko bounced from one victim to the next, encasing the heads of those who tried to sneak up on her in a sphere of water, leaving them to suffocate. Eventually, Saruko noticed that her speed was dropping and that she had to begin dodging some of the attacks being thrown at her.
'The weight of Papa's sword is slowing me down.' She thought, removing it from a man's chest. 'Sorry, Papa. I can't risk it slowing me down.'
With that in mind, Saruko chucked the sword at the gates, pleased to see that it stuck firmly to the wood. Turning back to the fight, Saruko pulled out a pair of kunai and became up close and personal with her fights. Each kill was swift and simple, nothing slowing her down or scaring her.
"You little bitch!" One of the men cried, puffing up his cheeks and aiming a stream of red flames at her. Saruko created a shield of water that intercepted the blast before disappearing. She back flipped out of the way in time to evade another attack, landing in front of the larger house. She looked over the several other men charging at her, thinking about all the mothers and children inside as well. 'I don't have the time, nor the patience for this.'
"I think you Sand Ninja need to learn to chill out." Saruko smirked, ice forming at her feet and reaching out over the entire plot of land in front of her. The frozen substance began to climb up the remaining members' legs, soon reaching their chests and faces.
Faces of fear and agony were frozen on their faces as the ice encased them entirely. It continued to reach into any house where it sensed life while Saruko turned and walked into the manor of sand.
Standing in the doorway, Saruko could hear the rabbit like breaths of a woman and the attemptedly masked breathing of an older man. Since the man was closer, Saruko wandered his way first. Unknowingly to him, who was waiting with his back against the wall to strike, ice began to creep out from underneath her feet towards him.
'That's right, you annoying tramp. Fall right into my trap. Just a little more...' The man thought, sensing the vibrations in the sand as she walked. 'Almost there...now!'
The man leaned in to charged, but was surprised to find that he couldn't move. It was only them did he notice the ice crawling up to his shins, having not felt them before due to the thick scales on his feet. The man struggled, swinging at random in front of him as he attempted to free his feet.
