Snowy Heart. (Naruto FF)

"I just want my family back!"

   "Do not fucking touch me, if you want to keep all your limbs." His visible eye went wide as a familiar voice struck his ears, mixed in with that of the young girl's. Before he could comprehend the situation, he felt his body freeze in the position he was in, pain soon following as his lungs and heart froze in place.

   "You are lucky I haven't killed you yet, given what you took from me. Don't push your luck, Asswipe." With a final glare of her golden-blue eyes, she walked off, disappearing in a cyclone of snow before his body began to work again.

   Collapsing onto his knees, the man coughed violently as his hand grasped his chest. Looking where the girl once was, legitimate fear and slight panic ran through his mind. 'She's going to--no, that demon is going to kill those kids. Just in Saruko's body...'

   Meanwhile, elsewhere in town, Naruto, Sakura, Konohamaru and his team of ruffians had run into the sand ninja, Konkuro, and his sister, Temari. Konkuro held Konohamaru tight by his scarf, holding him off the ground and threatening him.

   Out of seemingly nowhere, a rock came and smashed into his hand, making him drop the child. Glaring upwards, he found Sasuke narrowing his eyes at the painted faced teen and his sister. He crushed another small rock in his hand.

   "Get lost, Sand Ninja." Was all he said to them, trying to be edgy.

   "Great, another brat to deal with. I'll show you just who the hell you're messing with!" Konkuro exclaimed, taking off the wrapped objected from this back and slamming it on the ground beside him. His sister stared at him, wide-eyed.

   "You're really bringing out Crow for this?" She asked, crossing her arms. In reality, though, she was scared for her brother. If he were to step in now...

   Unfortunately, her worst nightmare became a reality as a certain red-haired boy appeared on the branch silently, watching the situation while hanging upside down. Before he could speak out, he noticed a very familiar presence walk into the area. One that kinda pissed him off too.

   The rest of the Genin, both Leaf and Sand, turned towards the partial blonde in surprise, shock striking all of their features for varying reasons. Konkuro, however, tried to keep a tough facade and growled lightly at the girl.

   "What, you've come to fight too, Girly? Normally, I don't fight pretty girls, though. Wouldn't want to ruin that pretty little face of yours." He announced cockily. He had just got the last word out before she disappeared for a second, popping up in front of him and gripping his face.

   In a swift movement, she threw the boy against a tree and watched as he was all but knocked unconscious. Cracking her knuckles, she stared up at the redhead, knowing he was there all along. He couldn't help but blink slightly at her eyes. They were filled with pain and betrayal, a light monotoned sheen over them that hid the building tears.

   They were...just like his.

   "You should learn to control your teammates better, Gaara. The boy he attacked was the Hokage's grandson." Her voice was plain and gave no emotion. Much different to the light-toned, and somewhat flustered girl he met about a month ago.

   'What happened to her? Did someone hurt her?' He caught himself thinking as he teleported to the ground, now standing in front of him. He looked over at her briefly before glancing back at the three surprised teens. "I do apologize for any trouble my team has caused you." Looking back down, he couldn't help the way his mouth set and his eyes narrowed at the sight of her. "And it appears we have met once again, Saruko. It's been a while, you know."
