Harry Styles
Trying to find a dress for a girl as picky as Carrington Hill is is a pretty damn hard task to fulfil. If I wouldn't have had Mia with me through FaceTime to help me out with everything going from the size to the colour to the style my chances of actually getting an outfit for Carrington would have been quite low. Obviously, I had my own taste when it came to fashion but I didn't think that would match with hers so I needed to get all the help I could find and the best source was her best friend.
That's how I ended up with a custom made red Burberry dress and a pair of black Michael Kors heels. To say the least, Carrington nearly fainted when I gave her the cream coloured Burberry dress bag and the shoe box. I think she even teared up a little bit before she pulled me in a suffocating and bone crushing hug.
While the makeup artist slash hairdresser gal who I worked with did her magic on my girlfriend downstairs, I decided to get ready in my room. Since I planned our date to be extra fancy and extra expensive, simply because that's what Carrington deserves, I went for a full black outfit with a white shirt. It was by one of my favourite brands, Yves Saint Laurent, which thinking about now wasn't something I worn for the longest time.
So once I took a shower and dried my hair I got ready. It didn't take me long to put on my clothes, do my hair and put some perfume on. When I looked in the mirror and faced with my reflection I nodded to myself, pleased with my outfit and overall look. I snapped a picture or two then I shoved my phone in my pocket, picked up my wallet and keys then headed downstairs.
Chatter filled the living room where Carrington and the makeup artists were although when my steps were heard they quieted down. My grin widened when I saw my girl's back, her tanned skin and tattoo was showing through the back of her dress. I didn't see her face apart from that.
"Harry don't look," Millie said and I laughed. "She only needs a little bit of lipstick and she's done."
"Alright, take your time," I said chuckling and headed towards the kitchen. I had a little bit of water while the girls got themselves ready and by the time I quickly rinsed my glass under the running water and put it in the drier on the side, they were ready.
Or so I assumed.
"Close your eyes, Styles," Millie told me and I did just that. "Okay, Carrington you can turn around he's not watching."
I heard a satisfying knocking sound as the heels of Carrington's shoes collided with the tiled floor and just that made me smile. The familiar scent of her perfume quickly filled my nose and I knew she stood close to me. Then I felt her hands grabbing mine and I couldn't keep my eyes closed any longer.
My gaze looked her up and down as I stepped back a little just to be able to soak all of her in and I was in awe. She looked breathtakingly gorgeous and even those words did nothing to describe just how perfect she looked.
"Wow," I whispered while I held her hand and my eyes went up and down her whole body. When she turned around and did a little circle I felt the need to sit down because she literally left me winded. "Wow," I repeated myself again.
All I could do was put my hands on the sides of her neck and I pulled her in for a kiss. The kiss was needy and deep, full of appreciation as I tried to push all my emotions into it to be able to try and tell her how stunning she really looked. Not many women left me speechless the way Carrington did just then and I swear I even considered getting down on one knee and asking her to marry me.
Crazy I know. But she made me crazy.
"You look-, I can't-, Jesus Christ, I'm speechless," I laughed and she joined me, her perfect teeth and smile showing. That made me even weaker in the knees.
