Carrington Hill
Whenever I had to accompany Harry to an event where I knew a ton of paparazzi and fans were going to be present, it sent my anxiety through the roof. I found this weird because I was alright with dance competitions but then it came to these things and it was like I changed into a completely different person.
Harry's most recent project with the Another Man Magazine was done and so they had a launch party for the three covers. He had long hair on some of the photos, which honestly shocked me but he explained that he had been working on this for a long time and with all the other stuff that he was doing, this one got pushed back constantly. But here it was finally and I could tell just how proud and relieved he was to finally have it out there.
We were sitting in the back of a car with tinted windows, Harry beside me with his hand in mine that he used as a stress ball. To be honest, we haven't been out lately so it felt completely new to do so again.
"Your sister is coming, isn't she?" I asked him just to get him to talk. He kept biting his lips and his legs bounced up and down constantly.
"Yes," he nodded. "Yes, she is," he added and I chuckled. It had been a while since he was this nervous.
"Hey?"
"Hm?"
"You'll be fine and you know that, right?" I asked as I made sure to calm him down a little. Which was actually pretty funny because out of the two of us, I felt like it was me who should've been on the verge of breaking down. I still wasn't used to all the attention and events this big that surrounded Harry and eventually me too.
"I guess, I just... I want to make sure that everything will go smoothly. And everyone will have a good time, you know?"
"Everyone will have a ball and even if something was to go south, trust me, no one will notice cos everyone will be drunk off their arses," I giggled and he cracked a smile. I leaned closer to him, my nose touched his cheek a little as I kissed his soft lips. A sigh escaped my mouth as his hand travelled up my thigh a little and his teeth caught my bottom lip.
"What would I do without your fine ass, huh?" he asked in a low voice and I couldn't help but giggle. "I love you."
"I love you more."
The car came to a stop after a few more minutes of us just kissing which was honestly something I cherished. The flash of the cameras kind of came through the windows and I stupidly looked into one as well so it made me go blind for a minute or two. That made Harry laugh and I just gripped his thigh to which he screamed like a little baby.
"I'm gonna get out first then come to your side, okay?" he informed me and with a last kiss to my forehead, the door opened and the loud noise of people chatting and cameras going off, filled my ear for a few moments. It was quiet again right until he walked over to my side and he opened my door. "Stunning, you are," he grinned at me as I held onto his hand and he helped me out of the car.
I pulled my dress up a little with my free hand and also clung to my clutch so that it wouldn't fall to the ground. Harry's arm went around my waist as support to guide me to the venue as I kept my head down. I knew there was going to be a million and one pictures of us on the internet as soon as we'll get inside though I tried to push that in the back of my mind.
Once we were inside, I felt his hand slide down to my back side, the warmth of his palm almost burnt a hole in my skin through the white material of my dress. I looked at him with a knowing smile and he just smirked.
"Let's get a drink, shall we?" he spoke in my ear so I could hear him as the music played loudly in the club. It was also full of people, dressed in suits and nice dresses. I didn't feel like I fit in with them in general, although the way I looked gave that vibe off.
